Hi Everyone. I hope this video will help anyone who is thinking of giving up. I am sure that a lot, if not all KZfaq creators experience the same issues that I have. They can be really damaging to your mental health and wellbeing. I know some people say you need tough skin to be a KZfaqr, and this is correct. But no one should have to tolerate being treated badly for no reason. There are some not nice people out there and they are the reason why I nearly quit KZfaq. I wanted to make this video to show other people who are experiencing some form of bullying that they are not alone and that they should not allow these people to stop them from doing what they love.

You are a gold medal winner. As a person suffering from PTSD, anxiety and depression for 50 years I know how hard it is to find a reason to get out of bed every day, you've not only found a way to help yourself through it, you've helped thousands of your viewers find something to brighten our days as well. Thanks for your wonderful videos and I use your links whenever I can. Keep up the terrific work!

Hi Steve Firstly I would like to thank you for helping me through long term sickness, you gave me a reason to get up and have a go at something new. I have always been a confident person but losing a business, house and being ill I was out of confidence. But now I'm doing resin work and starting to smile again 😁 The only thing I have to say to you is THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT. It has helped me so much. Can you do me one favour and stop making your you tube videos so enjoyable as I get so involved in them that before I realise hours have gone by and its 4am 😂. Seriously please don't let ignorance and arrogance of people who can only be happy making someone else unhappy and questioning what they are doing. You are a wonderful person and great artist. Regards Jane

This is the first comment I've left for you and I wanted to say this is probably one of your best videos. I'm a fine artist and a crafter. After art school many years ago, I didn't do any art of any kind because of negative messages left in my brain and soul. Finally, after 22 years I went back and that is now 12 years ago. I've done things with my art/crafts that I never would have thought I could have achieved so, I really understand how negativity can effect us. I truly enjoy all your videos and you. I'm studying therapeutic art coaching so I can share how art/craft can be such a wonderful too for stress, depression and anxiety. To learn this and share with others is a gift. Please stay with KZfaq and continue to be the best you can be at what you enjoy. Having the best life you can is the best way to negate the negative people. And you are so correct when you said they are the one's with the problem. I took may years for me to get that message, but it sure feels better once we understand that. You're very informative, funny and delightful. I wish you so my success at what you do and I hope when you ready this is feels you with confidence and joy.

I really appreciate this video and your honesty. I never fully realized the full extent of work you guys have to do just to bring us free tutorials. Part of why I watch your channel is the fact that you share the crafting fails as well as the success. I have learned so much from your channel. After seeing this video I am fully impressed with your character. You are absolutely correct, people leaving the hateful comments are indeed the ones with the problem. A lot of them have nothing good going on in their lives so they see a person doing well for themselves and they want to tear them down to make themselves feel better. I am glad that you have such a positive attitude about the whole thing and I’m most happy that you are staying on.

Dearest Steve, I just want to go on record to say that I love you, and your videos are brilliant! You have so much talent, and you always make me smile. I find your mistakes uplifting because we all make mistakes, and you always are so upbeat about errors. I have learned so much from watching you; you’re a wonderful teacher. All the positive comments you get are proof that the trolls are wrong! Some people get off on being rude. The trolls are probably crafters who are jealous of your success. Please keep posting what you make. Crafting and sewing are keeping me sane as I deal with neurological issues. I look forward to your videos and your cheerful demeanor. As our pastor has said so many times, "Offense is an occurrence, offended is a choice." That choice subdivides into two others: the choice to succumb and the choice to overcome. You are brilliant in taking this opportunity to see this for what it is and to so eloquently (and without spitefulness) respond in kindness and overcome the negative! Hurt people hurt and healed people heal. "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." - Prov 18:21. You are being a great conduit for speaking healing in a world of people that are hurting and may you continue to look forward (and not looking backwards because you're not going that way!) Peace be with you and Continue to Be Blessed By Being A Blessing To Someone Today 🙏

This made me so sad! Steve i started using resin a year ago and watched so many videos on how to but never really got what they were saying but about a month in to my resin journey i found one of your videos. To say you helped me learn so much would be a gross understatement. To this day a year later i watch every video you put out there for us on both channels so please don't listen to the haters get to you, your a wonderful person and truly a wonderful teacher! Also the affiliate links that's so stupid and petty of those people who criticize you, you find us links and put them there so we can quickly and easily find the things we need to be successful if you get any money from it you deserve it because you did the work so we didn't have to we get to find things the easy way thanks to you. I guarantee if you snapped back with do you mind when t.v. stations make money off those Coca-Cola adds or if car salesman gets commission when you buy a car they really wouldn't know what to say. There's a LOT of people out here that love you and owe so much of their techniques they have now!

Steve, what a wonderful video to express your feelings about this. It was heartfelt and genuine. Your entire community will be so happy to know that you're not going anywhere. I've had anxiety/panic most of my adult life, and I find that creating art and watching videos like yours really help take my mind off of things. Please ignore the negative comments. I agree that people that leave horrible comments are the ones who need help. Looking forward to more videos! 🥰

I love you and all your Experiments including the ones that “fail”. I’ve added the resin curing machine to a wish list. All craft content has projects that you can take or leave. As a person who had my first clinical depression at the age of ten and finally have it controlled crafting is a part of maintaining my mental health. You can please some of the people some of the time but you can’t please all the people all the time. Make yourself happy and ignore the haters. Keep the great content coming.

Good on you, Steve! I've suffered from sometimes crippling depression most of my life. My trolls have been mostly in my workplaces, as I don't really do KZfaq yet. It's taken me 64 years to realize I'm better than the trolls. I've retired now, and am so very happy. You just keep doing you.❤️

I just had to comment here. Number one you are amazing!!! I enjoy watching your videos. I have learned so much from you. I think your charisma is very unique and whoever has anything hurtful to say to you speaks more of them over anything. Don’t let them phase yoh they probably are just envious of your success. Thank you for sharing this video 😊

As far as the haters, just ignore them. They have nothing better in their lives to do with their time and you shouldn't waste yours on them. Please keep doing what you do. You bring joy to many people and that means the world to us.

Hi Steve, I have just recently tapped into your videos this week while learning to play with resin and I TRULY appreciate your light heartedness and I love hearing the laughter in your voice as you chat your way through your projects so that we can learn through you. It is a joy to watch your successes and your failures, that is how we learn and thank you for be brave enough to accept the challenges that people ask "you" to try, I think that is Marvelous! Please, keep your chin up because there are a LOT of people standing behind you ready to CHEER YOU ON !!!! Thanks again, from a MUCH Appreciative subscriber :)

Shame on those rude people attacking such a lovely person! Thank you, Steve, for opening up about this. I'm a very sensitive person, and have had issues with depression, as well. Those awful comments would have really bothered me, too. However, my wife reminded me that the people that did that most likely felt bad about themselves, and those comments stemmed from THEIR issues, which you already know. I adore both your personality and work!

I love your channel Steve. You have helped me so much through the passed couple of years. I had an heart 3 years ago then diagnosed with angina. 6 months after that I was told I was diabetic. It just seemed that my health was spiralling into an abyss. I needed something to keep me occupied while my husband was at work and I was sat on my own at home. That’s when I came across your channel. You inspired me to try something new and that’s how I got into resin craft. It’s my go to thing now if I’m feeling low, it’s my tonic and I’ve you to thank for that. So you keep on doing what your doing xx
