UPDATE: This is the last time I’ll address this because I am firm on how I feel in this moment. Through my decision to post the video, I am now more EDUCATED on the process of business functions and pr distribution. I most certainly overreacted and let my impuslive tendencies get the better of me. With that being said, I do stand in my truth and I want to speak about the importance of my standpoint. I NEVER thought that I’d be blessed to be in a position to even be considered an influencer, so for those who follow and support my journey, I give to you a warmhearted thank you. My passion for dolls goes far beyond pr and my goal is and never was to gt "free stuff". Again, I never expected to be in such a position so when MH reached out to me in October, I was shocked and ecstatic to say the least. During that time as someone new in the community, and didnt understand the business ethics of the doll community, I was confused as to why MH reached out to help the channel, sooner than RH did. I’ve essetially felt this unsolved confusion up until now. Even being fairly new in the doll community, I still recongnize the importantce of company spport. While speaking about where I stand in the doll community numbers-wise, i made some statements such as "I’ve done more in a matter of a year with these dolls than some people have done in a matter of 2 years" and many people interepreted that as me shading smaller people and implying that they are not deserving of support from doll companies. I absolutely do not stand for that inclination, and I will never say someone is undeserving of anything because that is not my place and that is not my concern. So to those smaller creators, please hear me when I say, I apologize. That was never the intention and I have never once thought that I am better than ANYONE, and I never will. It’s up to you to believe me. The implication that I do not support other creators couldn’t be further from the truth and is totally asinine. I don’t always feel the need to publicly indulge my support for other creators as I personally prefer to be supported privately myself. I am working on a project that will support a few more creators (you know who you are). Even if I may have surpassed some of you in numbers, you guys are unoquivocallly the pioneers who paved the way for new creators like myself to excell. and for that, I thank you. I mean this when I say, you desrve every great thing that comes to you and I WOULD BOT BE HERE IF IT WEREN’T FOR YALL! The LAST thing that I want to do is make anyone feel less than, and again, better choices of words and analogies could have been used on my end. I also would like to apologize to RH for my lack of understanding how they operate as a company. It is not my place to detemine who they should and shouldnt support, and going forward I will not be so reactive when things are not personal. Regarding the actual pr iteslef, you must understand that I’ve always had this huge knack to entertain large masses of people and I love being able to express myself creatively, as many of you do as well. so whenever I heard about Sunny and Luna, I was beyond thrilled to finally create more new content for my followers and subscribers. I did not expect RH to issue pr for the dolls so when I saw that they had done that, I didnt take it personally, but I was even more confused and frustrated. By this point, they have acknowledged my work on social media over 20 times within the last year. through that, I thought that they’d have perfromed an act of courtesy by now so I could continue to grow. I am not entitled or a freeloader as I’ve purchased every doll/product with my own money just like everyone else. I was simply unaware. They dont owe me anything and neither does MH. Despite my great internal strength, the name calling, and tearing down the likes of my person is totally unwarranted and will never be reciprocated on my end. That’s not me and that’s most definitely something that I will not engage in. There is however a much larger issue at hand regarding poc creators, and eventually it must be addressed. I have not yet done the proper research on it, so I am not currently equipped to address it, but when it is addressed, it is greatly unfair to the addresser to be torn down and poked fun of. I thank the people who have supported me since the last year and who knows my true colors as I have spoken to thousands of you. I will continue to do my duty as a creator and take this as a learning experiecne. Peace and love to all of us!! ❤️

If people were to stop collecting because they didn't receive PR from brands, the Hispanic collecting community would be SO, SO SMALL. (even smaller than it already is) It will sound ugly but nobody owes you anything unless they hire you directly to do reviews. TBH this video is just a huge red flag for me as a viewer and will probably be why I unsubscribe and avoid your content in the future. Just because there are other creators who are bigger in the doll community and have been interacting with you does not mean you deserve PR from a company, Just because you primarily collect Rainbow high, Bratz, etc. doesnt mean that companies owe you free PR I can understand your frustration in not getting PR since you have worked hard on your videos and have worked hard to gain a following. However, that doesn't mean you are entitled to free PR from doll companies, if anything this may actively harm your chances of getting PR from more companies in the future as this video makes it seem like you feel as if you are entitled to free products from them and are only making your content as a way to get free dolls from companies. When it comes to MGA interacting with your posts whether its on TikTok, KZfaq, Instagram, etc. its literally just an intern who is being paid to find Rainbow high related content posted by other people and interact with them. Doll companies have a specific criteria for each release of influencers and you just didn’t fit it, most of the PR content I see from influencers they are taking time to review the doll, to sit down and go over every aspect to get viewers excited for the doll, rather than sending PR dolls to people who open the doll and immediately just restyle them. There are larger creators who have been on KZfaq longer than you who don’t get PR packages and that doesn't deter them from collecting. Also going out of your way and shading smaller creators shows a lot about you as a person.... Not gonna lie, this video just makes me doubt why you've made this channel in the first place, did you start collecting and making your videos because you enjoyed it, or did you start collecting these dolls and making the videos because in the end you wanted to just start receiving free PR from companies? if its the second option then I'm sorry Rodney you've gotten into content creation for the absolute wrong reason.

I understand your frustration in not getting PR since you have worked hard on your channel and you do have a decent sized following. However, it’s very disappointing to hear that something like this would sour you from an entire brand, and doesn’t really reflect well on you since it seems like you’re boycotting them just because they didn’t send you free stuff. Ultimately, PR with these companies just doesn’t make sense. It’s not that they don’t appreciate or notice you, it’s more likely that they have a specific criteria for each release of influencers and you just didn’t fit it. Even some much larger creators than you don’t get PR on some releases and get it on others, they’ve got reasons why they’re selective and being “noticed” or having a lot of followers just isn’t a huge factor in making that decision. With all that being said, although your feelings are valid in not receiving PR, it’s a whole different thing when you decide to make a video about it and tell thousands of your viewers that you won’t be buying because you weren’t sent any gifts in the mail. Lots of people are saying it comes off as entitled, and honestly, from the outside looking in, it does. If you weren’t being sent PR by MGA before this, they certainly aren’t going to send any more after, and I’m sure after seeing this kind of response from you Mattel is probably taking note of this behavior. Just remember when you make videos, it isn’t a job, or a service, or a favor you do for anyone else, it’s your hobby and something you do that makes you happy. Doll companies don’t owe you anything for making content with their products, nor do they truly “notice” creators online when they engage with them on social media. They do this to everyone who makes doll content, not just “influencers” or people with a lot of followers. So I urge you to reevaluate this video and your channel. Is this this how you want your image to reflect on your viewers and the companies potentially promoting you? Is making content and videos something that makes you happy?

I'm paying $50 to $ 70 for each doll I live outside the US and doll are way more expensive, and people who can buy them for reasonable prices complain that they don't get them for free 😂😳😒 like c'mon some of us really love this dolls and this hobby, besides that in a marriage both parties made a previous agreement you just felt entitled to get PR without the company making any kind of agreement and this social media interactions are just some intern not the people sending PR that's probably the marketing team 😒

I feel maybe im wrong but personnaly I feel your videos are more known about restyling hair than doing reviews. I assume MGA send dolls to youtubers that would do only reviews on the dolls. Because ultimately that's advertising for them. They want the youtubers praising the hair of the dolls when they are out of the boxes. Maybe what u can do is videos only on reviews and other videos only on makeovers. So when a "buyer" needs the reviews on a new doll, your name will pop up with other youtubers that do reviews. Restyling is fun to watch and relaxing, but its very niche because not all buyers will do it on their dolls. And MGA, mattel etc will, I assume, target the general audience of buyers with their PR. I think you shouldnt stop buying those if they make u happy. Maybe u can write MGA and ask them, sometimes its better to knock at the door and be like "I want to be on the PR list" than waiting. I guess its like the people doing OOAK on youtube, i dont think they got PR parcels, because they modify the dolls. When brands what they want is their items keeping the integrity from when they were into the boxes, so buyers can have the same dolls as the ones they saw on X videos.

Perhaps it really is just a time thing instead since several of the people that do get things have been around longer and nurtured that relationship in that amount of time. I bought my first Rainbow High doll last year, after finding your channel and binge watching older videos. When I saw what you could do with their hair as well as the fabulous clothing the dolls wore, I ordered my first one. I have 18 dolls now. All but 3 have restyled hair. MGA has overlooked one of the most consistently important supporters of their product. I feel badly that you won’t be using their dolls in future videos, but you have to do what makes you both happy and successful. First of all YOU deserve the PR because you put in the work and post doll content constantly and not only when you have a paid partnership. I’m gong to be honest as a person who has been doing this since 2015 I’ve have not put in as much effort or time in making doll content . I honestly would love PR but it’s not something I’m dying over. I know a lot of other doll content creators who put as much effort on supporting rainbow high as you do but they too don’t get any pr or support from the company. MGA makes great dolls but has a favoritism in the content creators they like. Recently a doll content creator who has A lot of rainbow high dolls got the pr twins and I wrote on their post that I’m glad they got this PR because they deserve it. I hate company who send PR package to ppl who barely post any doll content or admires the brand. It’s super sad and hard to come to terms with. I’m honestly over it and I’m just posting doll content that makes me happy to collect dolls. No longer worrying about who got the newest doll or the fight to the finish.
