It's been quite a journey making 1T Wayuu bags, but goodbye isn't always forever. One thing I did not mention about Guillermina: Thanks to us working together she was able to save enough to start attending the largest national trade shows for Colombian handicrafts.
I'm glad I was able to open the doors of possibility to this family. And yes, she is a single mother, as are many women of the Wayuu tribe.

What's Arawakan must stay Arawakan. I prefer to buy authentic Wayuu bags. Not from other people who are stealing their crafts

No offense but why you want to trade Colombian culture bad. Wayuu people doing that bags because it is the way of they put the dreams in the design you can no give them designs the design is a dream. You only want to do money and treat my people like poor they have something more importantly than money.

Sara, after working for close to a decade with Wayuu people, I can ASSURE you, they prefer to crochet a design YOU will love and wear (and that they can sell) over a design that is hard to sell that is theirs but is hard to wear. They are not looking to crochet for fun, they crochet to make a living. Thank you for your support darling!
