Thank you for your honesty. I had a coaching business I use to run with a KZfaq channel, IG, etc under a different name, life events happened and I had to step away for a couple of years. I was considering going back into it but the whole automation stuff started to interest me... but something about it just didn't feel right. I think I'm going to stick with my original plan, revamp my coaching business, possibly make a few courses and go that route. My old channel still has 2K subs and my IG still has 4K+ followers. So I think knowing things I know now will help make it more profitable than it was before.

If I was in your shoes, I would 100% stick to your coaching business. You already have the foundation there by the sounds of it, just need to pick-up where you last left off and go for it. It also doesn't sound like your coaching business failed, life just got in the way. I'm sure you can bring it back to life. I made this mistake for years. I started with KZfaq when I was 14, I had success with my first channel but then I lost it. I should've stayed with KZfaq. I gave it another try but I wasn't commited because I also wanted to do live streaming, then make games, then I tried drop shipping, creating memberships and it all failed until I came back around to KZfaq. I wish I stuck with my original plan.

It’s true that personal brand channels can make money faster with less subscribers. I’ve heard of multiple stories about channels with only 1000 subs, making $10k a month. You need to have a good product to sell though.
@JamieOwers

Yeah, definitely. It needs to be valuable for viewers to buy in. One of the best imo is to have a service rather than a product

I’m interested in KZfaq automation, but I have some questions. How do you deal with copyright issues and KZfaq policies? Do you have any tips or resources for beginners?
@JamieOwers
@JamieOwers 7 ай бұрын
I don't have anything in terms of resources, I quit KZfaq automation. As for copyright, you should look into fair use. Fair use allows you to use copyright material as long as it's transformative.

I dont think it's entirely true. The problem with most of the channels are they lack valuable information. If someone is generating scripts with chat pgt solely then it might not give that much value. Also copy cats used to exist before too like copying another video or blog post and turn it into a video. If you are creating an Automated channel, you can still create a brand. You just need to be smart enough. Alux is one of the example of an automated channel. Stellar Sagas is another example. They recently launched a course and I bet they already got a lot of customers to buy it. Honestly, there always was a huge competition on youtube and yes AI is somewhat different but it is not going to replace the smart ones!
@JamieOwers
@JamieOwers 9 ай бұрын
I'm not sure how you can say it's not true when I'm just telling you what's happened in my life. I never used ChatGPT to write scripts, I built a team of scriptwriters, editors & thumbnail designers. You're welcome to go back through previous videos, find the channel names and search them, you will also find many of the same name, logo, style, & video topics. I never said automation was impossible, I stated at the start of the video that you can make money. However, the money made is small in comparison due to the barrier to entry being so low. I can pivot, and make a lot more without working as much. With all that, if you're on this journey, don't let me stop you. This isn't a video on why you should quit. The title is "Why I Quit Automation" because this channel is just me sharing how I built a $10k+ per month business and it would be weird if I never said why I stopped.

@@JamieOwersI appreciate you sharing your insights about your journey with automation on KZfaq. I was not saying that you are wrong or your decision is wrong. I might not be clear but I totally respect your decision. All I wanted to say that the barrier to entry was always low, on youtube even before AI and AI tools are not as good as being advertised. Surely they are helpful in saving a lot of time but they still need human's touch. Your decision to pivot and explore other opportunities that offer greater potential for income is a logical choice given your experience.

I appreciate it. I've now told several creators who were going into KZfaq automation to stop and they've since build personal brands and generated leads through KZfaq. Just because you do not see the value does not mean others don't.

Very valuable insight. Question: if one wants just a small income (around 5k/month) is automation still a viable option if one is not outsourcing? I’m working on 2 right now, perfecting AI, made it sound like a human, obsessing over my content, never worked harder on anything in my life. Just wondering, to what end… Any input highly appreciated
@JamieOwers
@JamieOwers 9 ай бұрын
You can certainly make money from faceless channels. That's how I started and I did it all myself at first. If you're not sure "to what end", you need to figure it out. How are you going to monetize the channel? If it's ad revenue, you're going to need about 1 million views at a $5 RPM to make 5k per month. The higher the RPM, the less views you need. It's possible to achieve this but in 99% of cases, you can find another way (a better way) to monetize. It's better to figure out the end goal, work backwards and then figure out if it's doable.
@TatianaAlmieri
@TatianaAlmieri 9 ай бұрын
@@JamieOwers thanks, yeah, I wrote this and then thought to myself, I shouldn’t worry about ai too much, because I’ve never thought of monetization as main source of income, my goal has always been affiliate marketing and digital courses I’m creating. Thanks for reminding me to focus lol

KZfaq actually should demonetize AI generated content. These videos are very sketchy and time wasting. All people talking about AI just making money through affiliate marketing and viewers are just trying, failing and wasting their valuable time and money.
@JamieOwers

It's interesting to see what they do. Some AI content is not accepted into the KZfaq partner program. Those rules were implemented back in June/July. KZfaq went the otherway recently as they now made it so those creating AI content must label their video as "AI". KZfaq are also brininging out AI tools to help creators. I'm personally not against AI but with it there will be those being lazy which is what I want to avoid.
