So I realised I was a little fatty and had to do something about it. I started running and just kept running every day for 30 days, it was pretty brutal since I hadn't run in over a decade but it was a bloody great learning experience.

Nice progress Omid! I'm a runner first (4:20 mile and 15 minute 5k). I started tricking recently and not going to lie its tough for me to learn. Really cool to see a good tricker take on running. I'm impressed with how quickly you improved.

Nice one man, I did a fair bit of running over lockdown too - doesn't come easily to me either as I'm asthmatic. I managed to run my first ever 10k over the summer though and my lungs definitely felt better for it 💪

Just got back from a 5mile run to see this video. Haha what are the odds. That improvement is insane though and running everyday is like torture. I'd suggest taking a day off or so for recovery in the future but good on ya

2:22 Omid be spitting facts. Mind > Body *_My experience with this truth_* A month ago I had a strong urge to attempt a half marathon at 1am with no training whatsoever. The desire was to make the run a symbol of self-efficacy and overcoming mental barriers. I didn't finish but tripled my distance PB (previously 5km) by running 16.5km (10miles). Giving up was incredibly seductive, legs numb, but the mindset was the driving force, not my body. Couldn't have been prouder. Shared similar symptoms to you: ringing ears and blurry vision. Thanks for sharing your 30 day journey. Congrats on inspiring others but even more so yourself. Overcoming the health barriers from your past smoking life is a powerful story. Other challenges are but a shadow. What's next? ;) *_Suggestion_* Not sure if this is a suggestion, but a year ago I tried to improve my sleep schedule by waking up at 5:30am for 7 consecutive days and aimed to do an hour of work in the morning. Staying awake till 1am-4am was unhealthy. To make a long story short, the 'hour of work' never became a habit and 5:30am is still too early. But the challenge was a defining precursor for adopting a typical sleep routine and lead to clear positive outcomes like mood, productivity, and general wellbeing. Any self change starts with mastering your sleep. Would highly recommend.

I'm a Mom just tryna' get to good fitness at modest pace cuz have tendency to get injured, esp. tendons. Building up slowly reduces my injury risk. Thanks for urban fun inspiration.
