F350 has a bigger axle and diff little stiffer lev springs. You can pull a 2 car hauler gooseneck with the f250, without a problem.

MSengineering David he’s not talking about a stacked trailer there’s regular flatbed trailers that have a pneumatic lift that lowers to make it easier for lower cars not a stacked trailer for one car on top of another.

You mean the half a ton engine that produces less HP and about 80 lb.ft torque more than a 5.9l magnum gas engine? Yeah man, HPOP and EGR and injector issues aside, that engine was still a pile and there's a reason it got phased out. Shit, in a crew cab, long box dually 4x4 it got 16 MPG HIGHWAY dry, which is absolutely horrid for a diesel.

I mean we have 4 7.3's, a 6.0 and a 6.7 and they all have their place. Of course as technology progresses they will always be pumping more power out of new motors but that doesn't mean the old ones won't work as well. Our 6.7 will get the same if not worse fuel mileage than the 7.3's now granted it's a f550 and has weight on it all the time and you can tell. It is a lot more comfortable and I'm sure safer. The 6.0 gets the best mpg's lol.

Enthusiast2024 now mine isnt a dually but my 6.7 does 19mpg highway and 14mpg towing a 12k 5th wheel so id guess anywhere from 900-1200+miles depending if hes hauling or not

MSengineering David you can register a semi as an “rv or motorhome” which means you wouldn’t need a cdl to drive it with a trailer.

Adam, Congrats on the new F350! DRW is a beast!! I just picked up a '17 F250 about a month ago largely due to your impressions of it in your previous videos, as well as the swarms of other reviews on yt. I'm going to be towing a jeep and a side by side behind it. I love it so far! I was afraid maybe you were switching brands on us in the beginning of the video. Stoked to see that you stuck with the Superduty. They have the highest towing capacity and power on the market! The technology and interior in the trucks are unmatched, in my opinion. If you ever decide to sell your single car trailer, please keep me in mind! That's my next purchase, and I've been trying to find a nice spread axel with cabinets up front. but really.. let me know lol Also, just wanted to give you a little heads up. As you go into 5th wheel towing, keep a close eye on your GCVW (combined truck and trailer weight) Look into local laws to make sure you aren't required to obtain a DOT or MC number. Once you have a 1 ton truck pulling a 5th wheel, you are going to be scruitinized much more by the highway patrol and DOT. Some states require DOT/MC numbers if pulling over 10k lbs, some states require them at 10k, others 26k lbs. Fines are pretty hefty if you're out there illegally. Don't want you to get hit with any surprises from the law. You're about to make so many more great memories in the new truck! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Color mached front grill & Ford emblem would look pretty dope!

I wouldn’t mod it. Those trucks from the factory are made to work hard and be reliable. If you level it, it will sag when towing heavy. Just my opinion, but I have always loved the look of a stock truck.

I drive a 2016 Ford F-350 super duty one ton gated flatbed for work and it’s my favorite out of our work vehicles. Super nice trucks! The four wheel drive is fun as well. Have fun towing a house! I’m a chev guy but cmon, Fords fully loaded duallys are siiiiick. Great choice bro 👌💪🇺🇸🦅

Put an auxiliary fuel tank in the bed for no stops. You can get an extra 100 gallons. I have a 50 gallon aux tank in my tow rig works great. Flip one of my aux switches on my dash and it pumps fuel from my aux tank into my trucks tank while driving down the road. It’s amazing you should def put one in yours.

Adam, you seem more frank and genuine just from talking about the two trucks. I'm not saying that you were in any way deceitful prior to the shit that went down, but I do like the new Adam and how laid-back you are. I was afraid you were going to go to something smaller, but this is a proper upgrade in every way. The differences to the F-250 are really just the rear end (Dana M275 moving up to a M300 with 4 wheels in the back). The F-350 rides a lot better than the F-450 on account of the tires, but the F-350 does have a pretty horrid turning radius compared to the latter, thanks to the F-450's wide-track front axle. And yes, you get the massive 48 gallon tank on a 176" WB! Best of luck on the new truck and can't see what you do to this one!

@@metallicarulesable the Ford only has 5 more ftlbs of torque compared to the RAM and when your truck is that heavy that means jack shit. Plus have you ever seen a Megacab ram? Show me a Ford that is bigger than that. RAM is also the only truck that comes with airbags from the factory. I bet you e never ridden in a ram. Plus transmissions are not that shit. They only suck if you plan on tuning your truck for over 1000ftlbs of torque. And the Aisin trans is fucking awesome.

I own a 2017 platinum drw. Had the same truck in srw. First sticker was 78k and drw was about 80k. There are only a couple option I don’t have. Limited started in 18 but no truck with factory options are that much over 100 and definitely not a platinum.

Adam what radar detectors do you use, and which ones do you like the best? Maybe a neat video idea. I live in PA where only state troopers can use radar guns and lasers.

Honestly keep it stock. Other than a leveling kit and an exhaust and tune. I love the super duty wheels that come with it.
