Being able to travel and get to know almost every corner of the world is one of the biggest gifts and commodities of today.
Traveling is one of the things that even made Nomad Capitalist possible in the first place, but what happens when you get tired of all that?
What many bloggers and Instagrammers might not tell you is that constant traveling really sucks the energy out of you, it's rarely comfortable and cozy, especially as you get older.
That's why here at Nomad Capitalist we believe in defined lifestyles such as the Trifecta Approach, with several bases where you stay for longer periods of time and build your life while digging deeper into areas you're already familiar and comfortable with.
We've learned this from over a decade of personal experience, and years of hearing what hundreds of real-life successful entrepreneurs want.
-------
ABOUT NOMAD CAPITALIST
Andrew Henderson is the world's most sought-after consultant on legal offshore tax reduction, investment immigration, and global citizenship. He works exclusively with six- and seven-figure entrepreneurs and investors who want to "go where they're treated best".
Work with Andrew: nomadcapitalist.com/apply/
Andrew has spent the last 11 years studying and personally implementing the Nomad Capitalist lifestyle, and has started offshore companies, opened offshore bank accounts, obtained multiple second passports, and purchased real estate in a total of 20 countries.
He has also spent years creating a behavior-based system that helps people get the results they want faster and with less resistance. Andrew believes that everyone can use offshore strategies to keep more of their own money, live a life of freedom, and grow their wealth faster.

Can’t take the long lines at airports, delays, weather conditions, babies crying, hillbillies, etc. I’ve done a fair amount of travelling and I have come to realize that there is nothing like home. I travelled in Canada and the USA for business. A Sheraton hôtel in Toronto or Dallas, they are similar. I have simplified my life and don’t feel like travelling anymore.

I loved traveling , ached to retire and travel now I’m in a position to do it and I don’t want to. I found a $2 shop in Rome 2008 and wept and knew travel was over for me….same food, same shopping. , same rooms, same poor service, same flights…same people …. I prefer hiking, cooking, camping , gardening and cleaning and my job has suddenly become so much more interesting. I was born and live in New Zealand 🇳🇿 which is stunning.

I read your article on the five best world cities with the lowest taxes on business. I lived in Vancouver BC and it was a life changing time for me. Being from the Carolinas in the U.S., I welcomed the extreme contrast in culture. I’d like to know more about how to start a business in Vancouver and anecdotes of successful businesses ran by immigrants in Vancouver. Also, I’d like to see a complete breakdown of the taxes an entrepreneur would pay in Vancouver. Cost of living aside, I feel that, Vancouver is extremely underrated in North America.

Nice vid i feel the same. I got my rotation and im happy like this.. Less is more and comfort has become more important. Travelling and staying abroad im poorer coutries has challenged me lately. Would you speak about this once? In financially poorer countries i have trouble finding likeminded people with success, healthy, high level mindsets. The countries inside just reflects the outside financial problems of course. How do you handle this to protect yourself? As we all know we become the 5 ppl we surround ourselfs with. On the other hand we have to have friends who will help in need locally in countries where one cannot rely on lawyers and police to help you. Its a tightrope

Hi Andrew - great video. I have a question: How do you manage your personal residences in Montenegro and Malaysia etc when you are not there? I always thought that was the main drawback or concern about owning a personal home in a different country. I am not sure I would feel confident in having a property management company look after a personal overseas residence in the same way I would a property manager overseeing a large commercial property investment. Perhaps you might do a video on this subject in the future. Thanks in advance.

The problem I have with the trifecta strategy is that 2 of the 3 bases will ALWAYS be vacant and the key for property investment is the income needs to exceed the expenses. Vacant properties cost money.

Brennan Carey I pay less than $10,000 a year to maintain all of my properties. Having them ready for my return and untouched by short-term tenants is well worth that plus any lost income.
@RyanLackey
@RyanLackey 5 жыл бұрын
@@theandrewhenderson I am looking for a property where I can have my house, dedicated to me (and vacant when I'm not there, or used by trusted friends); share the grounds, pool, etc. with a few rental units. I'd probably not generally rent out the rentals when I'm onsite, but some overlap would be fine. In the places where I'm looking, there are fixed and recurring costs to get the right utilities, maintenance, etc. but I definitely don't want airbnb people sleeping in my bed, so maybe this works.
@rift5980
@rift5980 5 жыл бұрын
@@theandrewhenderson I hear you about not wanting short term tenants, I dont want that either. What I am saying however is that as an investment 2 out of 3 properties would always be vacant and sometimes its would be 3 out of 3 so from a property investment standpoint its not a great investment to have vacant properties. Lifestyle no argument but from a investment perspective its a bad decision unless you speculating on the capital appreciation.
@rift5980
@rift5980 5 жыл бұрын
@John Smith No doubt, I just worry sometimes that lifestyle properties are glamourised as property investments when in fact they not. Yes they might have some speculation qualities and capital appreciation in the long run but thats a gamble. Then I revert back to the point of having 2-3 vacant properties at any given time as per the trifecta method. It seems great in theory but the costs are in reality high and as your lifestyle increases so does the needs and wants of said 3 lifestyle properties whereby you go from small inner city apartments to bigger and bigger until you are financing 3 penthouses in your trifecta.
