Just to clarify everything, I did this video as a test for finding my grounding and anything said in this video is all for jokes and giggles. I do apologize for the audio and random baffling.
My goal is to become the #1 streamer in the world. In order to do so I need your help. So if you found my video interesting and even some what ok...then do stay and click the bell to know when I upload again.
Thanx again for watching my video, yes I know there is some cringe moments but I'm still getting used to the camera
Do keep in mind I am still new to this game and I play for fun.

The only thing I have to say is, after playing ZZZ for a few days, relying entirely on spamming M1 to get you through encounters will get you killed the moment you get beyond like, chapter 1. Enemies very quickly start punishing you for not making use of the dodge and counter mechanics, and there are plenty of even A rank characters with very unique playstyles for you to learn and master. If the combat feeling too easy is a complaint you have with ZZZ, you haven't made it out of the section of the game attempting to introduce you to the game yet.

Holding the exploration against ZZZ feels like you're treating it like a game it is not. It still maintains a *few* aspects from genshin, but for the most part ZZZ is a much more traditional gacha game, and it focuses more on a mission based structure than anything else. Most sidequests give you a new mission, for example. The few things to do in the town areas are mostly nice little daily things or occasional sidequests that take place there, but they're far from the part of the game you're meant to linger on.

ZZZ is not a slow burn game, but it's a game not meant for Genshin's audience. Almost the moment you beat chapter 1, you immediately unlock a ton of things to do, and just by doing those things, you'll unlock the others relatively quickly. I've only been playing for about 3 days and have almost unlocked this game's equivalent of 5 star artifacts in genshin, I'm rank 34, and I can honestly say that the game's combat being too easy is an issue you only face before you've made it out of the 'tutorial' section. Don't treat ZZZ like genshin, it's not. Don't treat it like star rail, it's not. It's much more of a traditional gacha game than anything else. Hell, it even has difficulty selection for you, which I've kept on hard mode since I was first presented a choice, and the difficulty scales perfectly to my skill level already. Forget about exploration, you unlock a checklist of things to do in the towns later where you *can* find chests, but they're all just a one time thing. The focus is on the missions, tv puzzles, and combat. If you stick with it, learn the mechanics, and play for maybe a day, 2 tops, you'll see what I mean. ZZZ has a tough job to do, introducing hoyo's main playerbase from genshin to it, and I think it does a decent job, though clearly it needed to be more difficult sooner or people lose interest immediately, I suppose.

In my opinion, an issue ZZZ does actually have that would be bad enough to justify this, is how oppressive the energy system gets. ZZZ, more than genshin or star rail, has atrocious energy management. For the early to mid-game, it's fine, due to having things to do while waiting for your energy to recharge, but late-game, when likely waiting for your energy constantly, it gets bad. And it's mostly because of how much you consume over anything else. And I could absolutely see the energy system being a very justifiable reason to uninstall, just from how bad it is. But barely getting into the easy portion of the game, and then quitting due to it being too easy and having nothing to do, is crazy. I feel like people often forget how genshin felt the exact same way when starting it up, it's just been around so long most genshin players are simply used to it.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk, apologies for being passive aggressive, I'm just used to structuring arguments this way. I saw this video and didn't feel it appropriate to let the game be attacked after only playing for such a short amount of time and calling it quits before any of the issues you're complaining about go away on their own.

I can say that the combat is still extremely easy despite these counter and dodge mechanics, its not hard to just press space/shift as soon as a enemy flashes red or yellow. All you need is a quick reaction time and that's literally it.

I can understand where you’re coming from a little bit, but to be honest you also have to realize there are different types of games, Wuthering Waves and Genshin Impact are both open world games. The way you experience gameplay is supposed to be through exploring and opening chests and such. Zenless Zone Zero is not an open world game. This is an entirely different style of game, so you can’t play it and expect the gameplay and progression system to be the same if it’s not the same type of game you are playing. It’s fine to not enjoy this style of game, but don’t expect it to be something it’s not and then blame the game for it.

I just dont see why people comparing genshin and wuwa to ZZZ theyre something so completely different i wouldn't say it's trying to compete but it's has it's unique aspects. In the beginning the game is just button mashing but you have not reached end game as yet so you wont know how complex it gets, however, if you dont like it dont play it thats all.

you need to play through the story to get the stuff you want to do like for example there is like 6 different modes other then the story modes you also unlock more difficulty's. also the story is unlocking the core fetures of the game and past chap three you will have unrestricted gameplay choices but when your doing core story you will be locked to that untill you have done that loop

Personally, I like the combat cause I treat it like DMC combat. So like I try to vary my attacks, try not to get hit and learn how I can best utilize my attacks to every enemy. But that is just me.

I too kinda got disappointed after realising there's not much to explore in the game, but to be fair does every gacha game nowadays needs that? Like ZZZ gives off more of a Persona vibes with small locations with npcs you can interact with etc etc. and personally I think they could make something more out of it. Like for example giving us more minigames that could work as the reward just like opening chests in Genshin or WuWa (and btw in both games exploration gets kinda boring after a while). Regarding combat it's definitely more then just "spamming m1", I will admit that it is getting pretty stagnatic overtime and even changing team won't entirely solve the issue but it can be rewarding sometimes. I think that visuals and a feel of dodging and countering enemies attacks is often satisfying. Although I'm admitting that ZZZ didn't entirely come up to my expectations but I can see this game could get better over time when Hoyo will fill it with more stuff to do. It's not a bad game but it's just different from their previous titles. I'm at lvl 26 and till now the worst thing I experienced were boring and looking very similar maps in the hollows and the fact that like half of a dialogues in main story aren't voice-overed for some reason. If I were someone else I would give ZZZ another shot after few content updates.

Nah you are not cooking, sorry 💀 This is not the copy of other gachas but with a minor twist, it's its own thing. Even without an open world I found the world building in this game miles better, because it's doing something different, and I'm excited to see where it goes. And spamming the same button will only get you through so much, the enemies in this game are A LOT more aggressive

Alright so a few things. First Hoyoverse games are not skill expressive games. No game they offer forces you to learn complexed mechanics or skills to complete gameplay challenges. Each game has simple mechanics that any beginner can pick up and it tests you on the order and timing as you progress. Second this is not an exploration game. Its gameplay is closer to Honkai Impact 3rd rather than open world titles such as Genshin, WW and HSR. Its a series of instanced based missions with a few simple puzzles thrown in. Each area you can walk around in is a Hub world that solely exist for delivering new missions, shops, entrances to new instances and adding some interactions for world building. I understand that players will group Gachas together for comparisons but the term usually refer to the monetary model rather than the gameplay. We're all in the early game. We're not going to get difficult content at the start of the game. If we did, less people would probably play as they would feel forced to pull for stronger characters. We'll probably get tougher enemies that can kill us in 2-3 hits and require more geared, coordinated teams to complete the challenges at later levels. This game is the perfect example of the phrase "Let them cook". Its a game that's cooking up something but people lack patience after eating good at two entire different sources. That being said other criticism i've heard are pretty valid. 50 GB download on release is pretty wild. The TV puzzles didn't need to be including in every mission. It slows down the gameplay loop and usually not in an enjoyable way. Energy is tight "Like with all Hoyo games" but in these beginning stages there are few characters for people to pour resources into. It makes it easier to just focus on 3 characters you like and stockpile extra resources. I think the playerbase just had unrealistically high expectations for this game and expected it to be the new biggest thing, especially when games like Wuthering Waves comes out. From my POV, Hoyoverse isn't racing for the spotlight and instead trying to build a theme park. One where no matter what type of player you are, it will offer a game that will appeal to your tastes. Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, and Honkai Star Rail each appeal to a different type. Zenless Zone Zero right now feels like it took elements from each game but doesn't excel in a way that takes attention away from them. Almost like its a bridge that connects to each one. I'm enjoying the game and going to keep up with it to see where it leads.

ZZZ has a very slow start to the game imo. I was feeling very underwhelmed by the game until i turned on the hard mode, in which I feel rewarded for doing the extra mechanical attacks and whatnot as the enemies become a lot higher in HP. Additionally, suggesting that the game should have a way to explore the world simply isn't the audience its catering for. It is NOT an open-world or adventure game by any stretch of the means. Which sure, may be hard to hear if you prefer other games like Genshin, Honkai, or Withering, but ZZZ is a LOT more focused on combat than exploring the world. With that said however, I think the hub world gives a lot to do, and I haven't even completely unlocked it. There's tons of activities and side missions that are entirely seperate from the main modes of ZZZ, and with how the entire structure of the overarching game feels leads me to draw connections to games like Persona 5, where you have to manage the time you have in your days wisely to output the best results in your characters, allowing you to do better in battle. Although persona is better in this regard as the game is paid and singleplayer, which therefore makes it have a structure. Whereas in ZZZ there's less time constrants for building characters and whatnot (at least from what I've seen, I don't think it'd be overly difficult to add a mechanic that adds time limits to quests whether they're part of the main story or not.) I will agree that your point on first impressions mean a lot. I do think, as I mentioned sorta before, the start is slow and almost babying. I figured out the entire character of Billy and how he works, with all his mechanics and unique gameplay, WELL before I unlocked the ability to have tutorials specific to the characters I have unlocked. My simple suggestion is, if you want to still give ZZZ a try, just have patience and get through the beginning. The game picks up a lot through chapter one, and looks like the combat gets even more intense afterwards from what I can see from other comments. However, what you play is your choice, and you're completely valid in your reasons of staying to or leaving a game. Afterall, you're the one who experienced the issues you're having, and if they cause you to not want to play the game, that's your completely justifiable choice to make on your own.

Game is not hard , lets not lie to anyone , only thing you need for most characters is smashing left button and smashing the switch/space when you hear/see the click sound . That said , game is smooth , animations are awesome , the characters are fun and story is not complicated but fun . If only i did not have to do the stupid god damn pc hacking shit . If the game is fun for 50 hours its a good game , not all games need to be endless farm or challenge . We can easily say : In wuwa you learn to dodge , thats it (not saying its easy) , in star rail you learn to build characters - i auto literally 99.99% of content . In genshin you learn to gain power until everything is triviliazed :D All games have strengths and weakness and id say ZZZ is good on its own compared to the rest .

@@ASingh-ot5ci Id agree , but what is the endgame , cuz shiyu later levels require dps only , but its cuz they are not stoping you from doing all levels and you need 2 teams (bit early) . As of 30+ bracket things are not that hard so far . I hope there is another end game you are talking about later , that we havent reached yet maybe in 40+ levels or further , but nothing that hard yet . Dont get me wrong i love that the game is not insane difficulty , loads of games got that and i am just enjoying it casually for all its other aspects .

I don’t understand all this negative reviews for zzz. Does it live up to genshin and hsr? It’s comparing apples and oranges. If zzz came out before that it would’ve been a totally acceptable and an even good game since it’s more in the league of say something like arknights in my mind. It’s not suppose to be this crazy open world game or filled with lore that has built up over 3 games. Battle wise, I will admit some skill issues on my side but a lot of people haven’t even played enough to GET to the difficult part and it shows. The main story was more a slice of life pace and a totally different vibe from the others. Overall it wasn’t bad at all, granted it wasn’t the best game ever but definitely doesn’t warrant all the hate it’s been getting.
