I used Squirt for years, then I tried the OZ way immersive waxing and then I went back to Squirt because I wasn't able to de-grease my new chain properly and that is mandatory for the system to work. I really saw the benefits of immersive waxing so I tried the Silca way of doing it. I am not going back to any other system any time soon this works so nice! I just waxed a new chain and put that chain strip tablet in the pot temperature up to 125c leave it there for 10min bring the temp down to 75c and when it's there you are done and your chain wil never get dirty again, magic stuff. For vacation I use there Super Secret drip on chain wax. It is perfection to me.

Oz cycle is a cool guy, over the years I have learned so much from him. I clean my entire power train, chain in gas followed by breakclean than dry, remove rear freewheel, clean the same.clean front sprocket on bike carefully, usually twice a year pull crank and grease bottom bracket ( chris king),, for the chain i use " WhiteLighting" wax.. with out rear wheelattached,,, However sometimes the wax can buildup,or the product get kind of gummy and does not flow great. And your right, it can be messy,,i don't mind the extra work it's my hobby, and i love good quality shifting❤,,, And no strange Noises,,,,😅,,...

I have messed things up with squirt so much twice that I gave up with it. I have been for a year in waxing the chain with Silca, but in the last six months or so I love the simplicity and effectiveness of the Silca Synergetic. It is not a wax, but it does better than Squirt (although not cleaner) and simpler.

...dont need the new system.....using the bag they ship in is good enough ..... drip is just maintenance for me...after an initial hit wax

Squirt wax does not fair well at zerofrictioncycling. Super secret drip works much better. I’ve been immersion waxing for 2 years and haven’t replaced a chain yet. Silca is awesome
