I really love the song Europapa of Joost Klein. I' m also glad that it 's in our native language. It 's a very cathsy song with a much deeper meaning. I do hope so that Joost will suprise us all with an outstanding performance on stage next week so that he finally can win the Eurovision Song Contest 2024! Love from the Netherlands! ❤ 🇳🇱🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

This is why I want Natalia Barbu to win: 1. Despite her name, she isn't actually Barbie 2. She lives in Moldova 3. She is currently her age 4. She was born in her country 5. Natalia Barbu"s name starts with the letter N.

When talking about potential win, I think the struggle for the Netherlands is that it is a very Western European themed song. Except for Poland, everything else he references in the song is Western European, and the EU theme is also very prominent in the whole package. I feel Eastern European and non-EU televoters and especially juries, are not going to connect as much. With Switzerland, the whole thing (out of the box style of song and the outfit) might be a bit too much for some people and on the night you need that instant appeal to win, which I think is something Switzerland lacks. Also not sure how much love this is going to get from the more conservative Eastern European countries. So in the end, while I agree that all top 5 in the betting odds do have a chance at winning, I predict the winner will come from either Croatia, Ukraine or Italy. All three songs are easy to digest and have great staging. I also think France might break up those top 5 in the odds because of a potential high jury score and lots of people still enjoy "classic well-sung ballads". My favourite track of the year is Greece, but I am afraid it has no chance of winning, but I'm hoping for a Top 10 at least. My first reaction to the song was "WTF is this" and now I'm really enjoying it. The music video is amazing, not sure how the song translates to the stage though. So yeah, I'm looking forward to the show. It's likely going to be one of the most exciting voting sequences! I'm also curious to see how the votes will play out with Israel. I don't think anyone can predict that one!

Very good points! And I do agree that Switzerland might be a bit too much for some people, and has more jury appeal than televote appeal

About my country, the Netherlands; I don't think we are in winning contention anymore. At the moment I see us more as a 5th to 7th place. They must be hiding some incredible staging elements to get us back into winner talks again. Avrotros made a video in which Joost explains his staging concept and I must say that I know understand the bird completely, it is very cute, but I am not sure if it will be enough in the end. I hope to be surprised though and I am proud no matter what 😊

Ik vind de live performance erg low budget van Joost. Met een paar weken oefenen in een gymzaal ga je de winst niet halen. Joost is beter met zijn video clips. Ik ga dit jaar voor Croatia 😉💪🏆

Yeah to be honest I’m not sure about the bird :/ But we can still trust the process ;)

@@MarionPauliJoost was mentally preparing for the ESC since he was a child. And he was practically working months on this song and act. Yes, he literally said he practiced a few times in the gym of a school, but you’re taking his words out of context when you added the word ‘just’.

The song is great, but the live performance is to weak for winning Eurovision. But we will see what happens 😁

As much as I like the Dutch entry, I don't consider it a winner. I just cannot imagine the jury score will be high enough to see the Netherlands come out on top overall. A good result is on the card though. Croatia and the Netherlands with the public, France and Switzerland with the jury, which probably means... hello Italy.
@QuamfyMarc29 күн бұрын
Agree but dont forget Ukrain could pull out an surprise with that fantastic staging. Croatia or Netherlands needs a huge Televotes difference but maybe cancel eachother out.

I agree except that jury members should also really respect Switzerland, shouldn't they? I also don't really want it to be Italy AGAIN, so that might factor into it...
