I haven't properly understood $TAO #bittensor for the last 6 months. Just couldn't get my head around it...
But it all changed big time about a month ago...
This is why I was SO SO wrong about $TAO...

This reminds me of how Google labeled the entire internet of Google Images using an image game. Instead of gamification as the reward mechanism, it's now a monetary incentive model to help create better data for AI models.

Tao is more important than Bitcoin and has a higher value proposition. Once people realize that...the sky is the limit for Tao. Good luck.

Ya… I have heard that claim about 100 other tokens over the past decade. Just last month… it was KAS that was going to overtake bitcoin. Now it is TAO. Next month, it will be some other shiny new token. Yet… despite all those previous Bitcoin killers… every single one of them continues to devalue relative to bitcoin with each passing cycle… I’m not saying TAO isn’t awesome. I’m just saying don’t jump the gun. Bitcoin will alway be king. And this guys claim that bitcoin has failed as a P2P payment system is total nonsense. If you want to know why it is total nonsense, you can read my other comment where I explain why it is nonsense.

At 4500, it is 94.5B FDV. Not 50B. with 21M total supply. That is a HUGE difference. You may need to readjust your targets. ;)

Render was originally designed for decentralized render farming. Picture someone making a 3D animation and offloading the rendering (compute intensive) to the network instead of processing it on their own computer. Not sure about the other use case.

Another point is best way to find good projects is get rid of all meme coins and look for projects that solve something unique. Bittensor was a no brainer. Nothing like it! At all! Another one is Saito. But because price hasnt moved, people think nothing of it. Same happened with tao for a while.

Personally, as an experienced investor of 20 years and now only working 2 days a week, the only way to get there is to NEVER sell. People think only way to make money is to sell. Not true! You take the yield in shares and crypto. Dont need to sell principle. The more it grows the more yield you can get. Also you can use the collateral to borrow against or get a credit line. You can do this with shares, its called a PAL. Its a kow interest credit line against assets. Last resort is Sell! NOT financial advice

DYOR... yep its escalated on price, based on a whitepaper, but looks like hype. rate such a project at $0.000040 Do you understand that Python is slow, and only by joining the dots, is it ANY good. How can you say that bitcoin has failed as a P2P electronic cash system? This is complete nonsense… For ANY token/crypto to compete with the dollar and become commonplace for payments, it first has to approach the market cap of the dollar. At that point is when the price will somewhat stabilize and people will start using it as opposed to HODLing it and waiting for higher prices. This rule applies to any ANY token/crypto. Let’s say ETH or KAS or any other crypto were to become the global reserve currency. OK. Great. But first, it will have to rise to the market cap of the dollar. Until then… guess what? Nobody is going to use it as a payment system. Instead, they will just HODL it while waiting for those higher prices. Just like we are seeing now with bitcoin and every single crypto in existence. Now… as it stands… which crypto has the best chance of reaching the market cap of the dollar? That would be bitcoin. Which means… of every crypto in existence… bitcoin still has the best chance of becoming the de facto global reserve and used as a P2P electronic cash. If you can comprehend this point, you might want to reevaluate your claim that bitcoin has failed as a P2P payment system. Bitcoin is just getting started.

Why does anything need to reach the cap of a dollar before it can be used as a P2P payment solution? Your comment doesn't make any sense. Bitxoin failed as a P2P because it is SLOWWWWW. it has nothing to do with its market cap

@death-star-citizen yes bit there are layer 2s like RSK, Tectum, etc. So it can speed up. The layer 1 is just settlement layer, which of course is important but layer 2s can help scale. Few have much idea what's going on in Bitcoin overall ecosystem.
