Tamiya's Supermarine Spitfire Mk. I (Battle of Britain) in 1/48 scale is an excellent kit. Accuracy of fit and design are at the usual high Tamiya level. The cockpit is very detailed and a pleasure to build. I used an Eduard LööK set to improve the instrument panel and seat belts.
I finished the kit 2 years ago and was very satisfied at the time. Unfortunately I didn't have much video footage of the construction and painting process. So I decided to do a re-weathering with filters and oil paints. It was a lot of fun reworking this model.
