doesnt he need to get to 2500 rating yet? but awesome that he got his third norm! and he is really close to 2500 now aswell

Good point - his last published rating was 2474 - after this tournament, he still might be a few points below 2500.

He crossed 2500 in the past already. If this tournament will be included in the January rating list he will be +2500 again in any case since he won some points in London as well.

Ooh i didnt know he had won few points on London. But fact is, i didnt know you only had to cross 2500 once in life, i thought he needed to have 2500+ rating after getting those 3 norms. Great to know, happy for him!

That's what I thought, too. I thought after one achieved the norms then one needed to be 2500 or over. Interesting its one and done for that rating.
