In many ways, Banquo is just as important a character as Macbeth, and many critics have commented on him as the noble foil to the tragic hero. But is that really all there is to Banquo? Or is there much more to unpack about his character? In this video, I propose a new way of looking at Banquo with close reference to his moments throughout the play. This was such an interesting take that I had not been taught before - I used to be nervous about an exam question on Banquo but I feel like I now have enough information and a better understanding of context to properly answer ! Great video 😊

Hi! Amazing video!! i just wanted to clarify something in the video as for the close reading of act 4, isn't Banquo's ghost appearance in Act 3.4 and not in act 4? thank you so much as always!!!
