Күн бұрынIsraeli authorities say a number of people have been arrested after protesters in the occupied West Bank blocked an aid convoy bound for Gaza.
The protesters were seen throwing food packages onto the road and destroying some of it. The trucks came from Jordan and were waiting to cross the Tarqumiya checkpoint west of Hebron. A far-right Israeli group says they were demonstrating against the continued detention of Israeli hostages in Gaza.
The United Nations has warned that Palestinians in northern Gaza are experiencing a 'full-blown famine'. This as the Israeli army returned there to fight resurgent Hamas forces.
For more on this, we talk to Noga Tarnopolsky, a freelance journalist in Jerusalem who has covered Israel and the Palestinian territories for decades.

After Hamas admission 4 days ago that losses were 10,000 lower than they had been saying come out which was backed up by you and statements yesterday that reduces the number to 24000. But that number includes 13,000 Hamas soldiers lost fighting in civilian clothing. And that number includes losses to their own missiles landing on Gaza such as at the hospital at the start of the war that killed 250 Gazan citizens. The war has also clarified the distinction between Palestinians living in Gaza and over 2 million peaceful Palestinians living in israel. I see more and more posts where people distinguish between gazans and palestinians.

At the beginning of this "war" Israel already said they would leave soldiers there afterward to be a standing police. I'm not sure there is a planned end to this conflict. Two-state systems or a Palestinian Authority that becomes a recognized government isn't their plan.

Some people think that genocide is "the deliberate attempt to erase an entire population" like in ww2. However, the UN defines it as the deliberate killing of members of an ethnic group because of their race,. What is happening in Gaza is at the very least ethnic cleansing which is the attempt to remove people from a given territory because of their ethnicity.
