Accepting myself has been the hardest thing ive ever had to do but its what God requires to enter heaven. Its so easy to forgive others and love others... but to forgive and love my imperfect self is... almost impossible. Anything is possible with Christ Jesus. Keep in mind, it will take time (years) so dont beat yourself up if you mess up often. You are so loved and so blessed!! God doesn't choose saints that are stainless and perfect. Thats too easy. God wants YOU!!!! Amen

the fact that Pastor Steven gets on stage and preaches to us with all his insecurities and feelings of unworthiness is a testimony in itself that God is faithful to those who serve him and he will not let us down. And to also do it even if you are scared and don't feel worthy. Jesus makes us worthy. Jesus helps us overcome anything! Thank you Jesus!

Everytime I used to see something God does for me ...like an answer ! a miracle ! a favor , a revelation etc I used to tell him "Thank You Jesus" in low voice or someimes tell it smiling brightly and blink my eyes looking up and I don't do nothing much . Whether it's huge or small , I used to tell him just Thank You and this eventually made me think that I'm not thanking him properly or not enough . So I tried n tried to make it look so sincere by kneeling down , trying to make few sentences but every time I try I can't tell anything except Thank you for 3 , 4 times. Later I felt very empty and felt like talking to Jesus just casually sitting down like to a friend and I heard him say I MISSED THIS YOU . And I ended up crying realizing how much he loved me that my simple Thank You's and simply being a friend and looking him that way is how I was and I am with him . So when I tried to make it sincere or make it in formal or whatever it is ... THAT ME IS NOT ME. It is me trying to be someone else and Jesus said I accept as who you are and those little things you do as my child are my favorite . He is great as a Father and he accepted me as his child without any judgements , without it's or but's . He deserves all the praise because GOD IS LOVE , Amen ❤️

Thank You Jesus for my mental illness and how it separates me from what is popular in this world. Through this pain and the discrimination and judgement I face, I will help others like me who feel like they have no one. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I wondered what happen to me because I also accepted Jesus as my Saviour when I was 15. I was a Jesus Freak on that stage but got lost along the way. I keep trying to get to that place again. Lord help me to accept myself because you created me in Your image even though I was rejected and felt not good enough. Always trying to prove myself to be worthy to the point that I got sick.... Mentally and physically and have been stugling that battle for 14 years. I wake up every morning with an expectation that my spirit will shine again and my flesh will be heald. Amen

PTL !!! I don't know if you'll ever read this, bt, I needed to thank you for obeying God to preach this, I needed it so bad !!! It was one of those days I was feeling so down about myself---still. I got saved at 17, bt had been goin to church my whole life. Thank you Heavenly Father for a praying Grandma that took me to church every week ! There's too much to tell how life, frm t beginning, called me ugly, crazy, not worth anything, t one always yelled at n beaten, ect. My sister is t one that's beautiful, always treated better than me--on, n on, n on, n on.....So I needed this sermon. I can't say that I was miracleously freed frm how I think about myself, bt I've found a place to start. My daughter, also, trys to get it thru my "thick skull", that Jesus made me beautiful. Easy for her to say,, she's one of those literally beautiful people--inside n out !!! That's all well n good, bt "MAN" still thinks I'm ugly. So I made up a little saying that when somebody calls me ugly, I say; "you oughta be thankful for me," (and of course they ask WHY)? Then I continue, "because, if everybody looked like you-- beautiful--nobody would stand out in a crowd. It's ugly people like ME that makes YOU look good !".. I'm 68yrs old n still down on myself. My looks, my brain power (n I AM intelligent), bt, well, you've prob heard it all b4. SOMEBODY else IS goin thru this, cause t Bible says there's nothing new under t sun---n that's sooo sad....I don't want to always have this thinking pattern !!! I do have a testamoney; delivered frm drugs, healed frm Manic/dep, healed frm a hernia. DELIVERED AND HEALED frm ""FEAR""!!!!!! FEAR !!!! FEAR !!!! I'm t one that would hide, outside, BEHIND t church till t piano player showed up, so i wouldn't have to play t organ--BY MY SELF !!!!!!!! Out frm gangs-- almost died. So tell me why I have sooo much that I AM thankful for, YET, be so down on myself ??? (O, also, my daughter says I can't just tx someone, I gotta write a book ! Don't know why she says that ?!?!?) Well, I hope you get to read this, just to know your such a blessing to me, n I really do appreciate your calling !!! Sis BB

Thank you Pastor this was so much needed and I was very young (7 years old )as well when I accepted Jesus in my heart And has taken my more than 40 years to accept myself since I went through lots of trails but I am so grateful that I did accept HIM in my heart HE has been my truly savior because from getting abuse at the age of 6 years old I know HE has never forsaken me even in my darkest hour when I thought I was all alone HE was there with me and in my best days HE has been there to show me this is light at the end of the tunnel....
