The absolute snobbery of Jaguar executives made me buy a BMW. I walked in for a test drive and the sales guy asked me to give salary proof and give my bank balance details for a test drive, told them to f off, walked into a BMW showroom and walked out with a new X5. Jaguar in USA lives in some dream world or la la land.

They are also going fully electric too soon. The sales just aren't there yet to justify it.

Jaguar has been led by idiots. Going 100% is going to be a death knell. They also lost their identity with the last generation of German styled cars. They should have gone with Bertone’s B99 concept. The interior of the F-Pace looked like it is a chevy. When they had engine issues with timing chain tensioners they allowed it to go for years in two different episodes. 🤷🏻‍♀️

They should have stuck to building sports and GT cars rather than trying to take on BMW. JLR haven't helped by building cars that are better served by Land Rover. Also, the build quality is shite (mind you the same can be said for Land Rover).

Jaguar sold in 2022-23 (2 years) only 162 cars, here in Sweden !!!!!!! thats sick

My Jaguar XJ is fabulous in silver, parchment leather clear windows and wood rim steering wheel. I have had many Jags since I took my test in my father's Mark 2 in 1960. I made a couple of trips into Mercs and Audis but nothing compares to a Jag. One of my other cars is a Caviar 5 litre XK which is stupendous too. No better cars !!

Unfortunately having built a good range of vehicles up to 2018 they then rested on their laurels and failed to continue investing and updating the range, too slow at face lifting the interiors and exteriors, not enough power train development lack of hybrids and phev’s and a complete absence of new models cancelling the launch of the all electric new XJ model. New models are the life blood of any brand. It’s yet to be seen if the new strategy of moving Jaguar in the Porsche Bentley Aston Martin segment will work. It’s interesting though Porsche Bentley Jaguar or BMW Audi Mercedes Jaguar ? To me it sits better in the first group. Mores the pity as I won’t be able to afford to replace my rather lovely F Pace with whatever comes next.

I owned an late 70's XJ6 which continually had reliability problems. After spending weeks at the dealership a mechanic told me that 80 percent of Jaguars had similar problems due to work practises at the factory. Word got back to the factory and they sent the union rep from Britain to Australia to find out why they let 20 percent get through in working order!

They sure are great looking cars, as are almost all British makes(Aston, Land Rover, Triumph, Mini, etc) but they just don't "move" people like some other brands.

I would think their horrible customer service, build quality, constant maintenance, and sky high prices. I was working at a Ford dealership back in the day. Our owner of the Ford store had to have a Jaguar. He felt he deserved one, and at the time, Ford owned Jaguar. Every month he had a porter drop off his Jaguar for some form of warranty work, maintenance, or recalls. I don't know how many regular customers would put up with a vehicle going back and forth to a dealership every month or every other month.

that's what happens when Jaguar started making crappy rovers from the 90s instead of proper JAGS, and it started all the way back with the new XJ. All it did was putting a bullet to their own head, they have been bleeding out ever since. It made Jaguar 'approachable' as much as a BMW 3 series or a Mercedes C-calss, with the 'british' image that was Rover, not jaguar. They killed what they used to be, in order to survive. That in itself was perhaps defendable, but instead taking the success as a moment to breathe and get back to what they used to be, they sat back like they made it, and now are reaping the 'benefits'.

Sad same as a lot of British car/motorcycle company's falling buy the way side ?.

Very easy to fix, they need to send out a luxury suv, something like a Urus/Dbx. Sad but truth

Here we go again, bashing and criticising home grown products. Tell me what is so fantastic and dynamic about B.M.W. or Mercedes-Benz. They are not all that good. Speak to people in the trade and ask what do you think of the German cars including Audi😮. Answer would be, not alot.
