I'm taking my bean to the vet. She is so obsessed with food we can't eat without her hounding us and trying to stick her little paws into our food. We don't give her treats or human food and when we feed her we give it into her bowl. We don't know her history unfortunately. She learned to open the cabinets and ate half a pack of tortillas. We got safety locks on everything now. Hope we find out what's up soon.

My cat is obsessed though... If you leave a sponge in the sink with a little food on he will chew it, he will eat anything left out, any crumb, he licks the sink, he rips open the recycling bag to get to anything, its quite frustrating because he's like a shark in the kitchen. So well behaved otherwise and sweet but food obsessed...

My cat, she is a food terrorist. She will beg and cry for food, sometimes my father gives her a little food when preparing it, she keeps crying and crying to make him give more. Sometimes she eats so much she pukes downstairs, comes upstairs and eats again 🤣 she never knew what hunger is (she wasnt a stray although she is a gray tabby)

My cat will eat tray after tray of her fancy feast wet food. I can’t believe how much she will beg for. She was found as a kitten by herself. So that’s probably the reason she eats so much. Thanks for the informational video.

I wish I can get our cats to stop demand meowing for their food. The others in the house will complain they're getting fed earlier, but will feed them earlier which ruins it with habits.

So the stray thing applies to my cat. Nothing I can do? She meows incessantly at the top of her lungs.

I have a cat that was the beta of 3 other cats. They hogged the food. Now, alone, in my home she still gobbles like a starving Methodist. I got an auto cat feeder machine. Now she only gets two meals a day period. Dawn and Dusk. After a few months, she is not quite the beggar, but she is the watcher for any stray ort.

One of my cats keeps eating half his food then moves on to the other's finishing it then goes back to his and still wants more, he is a sold 14 lbs and not gaining weight but always eating, I had to start harnessing him to let my other one have a chance to eat but the lil glutton broke the harness by twisting around the post I attached him to. ffs he eats more then me.

My brother is the sweetest black cat you ever did meet, loves belly rubs, sleeps with whoever is the favourite human, gets walks, etc. however, he’s eaten pretty much everything. The only thing he dislikes is fruit, we’ve seen him go for unattended salads. His favourite food is lamb.

I just got my 4.5 month old female kitten. Most cat owners would say that their cat would bother them in the middle of night to have to feed them. My kitten would just sleep with me the whole time I sleep, and only eats what I fed her. Wont even beg for second serving. Sometimes, she finishes the food, sometimes she wont. Yeah every time I pet my cat, she slowly makes her way to the food bowl but definitely makes her way and she'll start eating, then she'll stop. She'll go clean herself and lay down and it just seems like anything that makes her get up, she's always going to the food bowl and constantly eating. She gained a lot of weight after I got her weight down a little bit but she's not losing weight and I don't think she's diabetic or anything because her body does what it is supposed to. She eats a lot and it shows so I do believe she's just taking every chance to eat that she can because it was my neighbor's cat but she was outside, I don't know how they fed her but she was helping when she started coming over here. I wish there was more options offered for people who have pets but can't afford veterinarian bills. Some people say, if you can't take full care of the cat then don't have an animal but it was either leave her outside to fend for herself or at least that's what I thought. Or it was take her in and give her clean water and food every single day and as much love as we can. I feel like she has a much better life now than what she would have because I thought she had no home at first. What comment was not supposed to be that long. I guess I'm just more worried about her but she's been acting completely fine other than eating too much

My cat is 13 years old and he eats a LOT of the Fancy Feast brand because that's his food. He meows every 2 hours for food. And when we gave him a flea bath, he was so skinny! I'm worrying he might be close to, "leaving".. But other than that, he is happy, sleeps alot, pretty lazy, grooms himself alot, and is overall okay. Cat waa lost for about a month but has been home for at least 5 or 6 now but is ALWAYS scrounging for food. Tried to fill her bowl with hard food after meals so she can snack but she eats the while bowl then next meal wants to eat! Very frustrating, any suggestions on how to fix this??? After 40 years of owning cats, I'm convinced that you have to get a kitten at 5-6 weeks and train it to fit your lifestyle. Any kind of later acquisition or adoption is pretty much doomed to be hell on the cat and on you.

Nope, overweight cat, I think he has food anxiety. He's always begging for food despite the feeding schedule and he will ignore his food and cry for his sister's food. I truly don't understand. He will eat so much and so fast he will throw up then continue eating and if I don't feed him fast enough he'll vomit up bile then eat just fine when I give him his food.

I adopted a senior cat from the spca and he’s 17 now. He’s thin and would eat an entire case of friskies a day if I let him. He growls at the other cats and won’t let them eat, even when they each have their own can he will run over to theirs. It’s super annoying. I’ve had to start separating him so the other cats can eat

Does the stray eventually get over the constant eating. We have had one for 12 days now and it hasn't calmed down. Her digestive system is definitely working well so don't think it's worms.

So if she lived on the streets almost 2 months she would be demonic about food all her life? I don't know what to do. She doesn't let us eat even if I feed her at the same time. She comes begging, she jumps on the table in 2 seconds even if I put her down 1000 times and redirect her to her food. When she sees meat she goes crazy, she starts to look very fast in all directions and try to do everything to eat it. If she manages to steal, she would growl and eat very fast. She's never full. I can’t even eat peacefully without my cat sitting watching me. I’ve had her since she was 6 months old. It’s aggravating and I can’t stand it. I can’t stand dogs because they do the same thing. Your looking for trouble if you sit and watch me eat. It makes me so mad. I can’t even enjoy KFC. Any chicken brought home forget it. A cabinet opens up here she comes. Open the fridge here she comes. It’s just aggravating I love her but it’s just not something I like.
