Lawrence had a very narrow minded view of the cruise world.... until his trip with Virgin Voyages. He now cannot have a conversation with someone without bringing up what an amazing time he had.
Virgin Voyages was genuinely a trip we will never forget. Apart from being first time cruises and making all the mistakes possible... Virgin Voyages make our stay a perfect one. From the happenings cast to the housekeeping to the restaurant staff to the musicians... everyone made our first cruise experience an incredible one.
Mykonos really is something... the beauty is undeniable. The tourist levels through the roof. The prices are for millionaires. If visiting Mykonos.. by virgin voyages cruise is the best way in our opinion. The best value for sure. You can eat amazing food then step off the virgin voyages ship and enjoy the beauty Mykonos offers. Then of an evening go back to the ship to enjoy a comfortable sleep without spending hundreds of euros on accommodation. The perfect combination... and for that reason... we had an amazing time. And didn't have to spend $150 Euros on lobsters pasta... but had out own fine dining shrimp pasta included in our cruise ☺️

We are Eleise and Lawrence & Nyh - A young family from the south of England. Like many people the pandemic gave us a shake up! While watching hours of Mark Weins in Thailand - We had our “Ah ha” Moment. We decided we wanted to travel.
Enjoying working for ourselves, we didn’t want to give up our business and decided it was entirely possible for us to do both. So we set about making it our lifestyle to work in the UK for a month, and then travel for a month - month on, month off…. until our little boy Nyh goes to school! We want to inspire people that you don’t have to up-sticks, sell all your belongings and leave behind family to be able to see the world.

Mykonos was windy and expensive - i just didnt know it was THAT expesive until i sobered up and checked the bank! at 22-26 Euros each drink.. 50 Euro meals.. hundreds on check out expense for barely anything. i say take 1500 extra than you would have :D

lol we laughed so hard at Lawrence in the beginning of the video. so FUNNY! We went to Santorini in 2019 and it was so pretty but you guys are making us want to go to Mykonos. It is so expensive though. We looove greek food!

Mykonos is definitely overrated, but a simple coffee or drink by the Little Venice after shopping made it for me!

It's Mykonos , it attracts the rich and famous . Don't forget foreigners have also invested in some islands too, pushing prices up further. 🇬🇷 relies on tourism , if you're travelling during high season expect to pay more. Inflation has impacted 🇬🇷 don't be alarmed if prices have gone up even at places that once were cheaper. If you go to the islands and villages that aren't so popular you'll most likely get better deal for your money and still have an enjoyable experience.
