There was a time when the mosin was the most used and feared weapon in Tarkov, but one day BSG nerfed the mosin, made it more expensive, made the ammo worse and less accessible.. because of that people stopped using the mosin. Until now.. the traders got restricted and one of the most pivotal ammos 7.62 PS was removed from level 1 traders, a lot of high tier ammos were also taken away, making what used to be mid tier ammo a lot more valuable.. the meta has shifted. however, there is one round that has seemingly gone under the radar and that's LPS GZH, with a whopping 81 damage and 42 pen… this is a round stronger than the staple m80 and you can get it… at level 1. Using the MG is fun. One of my favorite pastimes is loading into reserve with just a shotgun to avoid tagged/cursed. I go to the building with an MG that overlooks the Helicopter and I wait for player scavs to start looting the crates in the open. Great fun.

Watching a lew video is like waiting for that new TV show to drop and every episode is an absolute banger. Great work once again man. I know you have done some before in your normal cinematic style but fun for you or not lol I’d love too see just a idk 30 bit of straight up tips to get better. I’m a solo player (2nd wipe) lvl 28 but feel like I could be better tbh tip videos really help, just an idea.

7.62x54R LPS GzH and .366 EKO are both low key monsters pre lvl 15 and even beyond. Cheap guns, lvl 1 trader ammos, and reliable lvl 3 and lvl 4 penetrations with high damage.

Bro this wipe up until around level 20 I ran the mosin straight questing. A lot of times with nothing but a headset. It’s so easy to single someone out and then gear up and finish questing. I will avoid fights until the right opportunity. If I can quest without fighting I will. But if I can get a free kill or a good chance at one I’m taking a shot with the mosin. Especially early in wipe. Head tapping people with LPS in an iron sight mosin brings me great joy.

9:57 I can relate. Yesterday, I'm super full of loot on Woods, going to Outskirts. Open a bush stash by suppressor hut and a scav that hadn't made SHIT for noise til then runs directly to me and shoots me in the face. I had the exact same reaction. Nerfed my ass.

They definitely got stealth buffed, and then "nerfed" ("we lowered the accuracy on scavs that have automatic weapons, which is 1/10 scavs"). This video shows how busted they are right now (between the scav showing up on his screen and him getting head eyes'd it took literally 1 second).
