Correction - During 1947 Tripura indigenous population was over 80-90% atleast and not 60 % The census largely ignored to count the tribal people who were up on the hills and remote areas where as non tribal Bengalis lived in plain areas, they were given temporary shelter in Tripura During 1940,42 ,45,46 Bengal communal riots but after the Death of Last Tripura King the Hindu Bengalis never returned to their homeland & settled in Tripura by deception since they were educated under British rule & were even holding high post during King's rule

Discrimination from whom? 🤷🏻‍♂️ It is the Non-tribals who are being discriminated against. The percentage of non-tribals that are leaving NE is increasing every year. Ask your State ministers about the millions and millions of funds that are sent by the Central government every year, what are they doing with those funds? Where is employment? Why isn't there development? Why are people in rural areas becoming poorer day by day? Every kilometre there are wine shops, as a result youths are indulging in consuming more alcohol compared to other states, hence it keeps them engaged in party mode all the time, inebriated and spending time doing unproductive things. Take some stand and start questioning your state governments and useless NGOs, blaming central won't fix NE issues!

The northeast don't share common history,. culture with India. Before the comming of British people do not know India or Bharat.Even before 1947 people do not know Ghandhi, Nehru etc. People fought the British not for India, they fought for their own freedom as it was an independent country especially Nagaland and Arunachal. In 1962 Chinese war, 50% of the population in Arunachal support China and 50% supports India. Still 30% supports China, and 60% supports India and 10% are neutral.

Every NE state have their own story of insurgency coming up I can explain the main reason for Manipur's Insurgency Manipur was a sovereign entity for the past 2000 years. From the emergence of 33 AD. Till 1891 the Anglo Manipuri war it came under the British India. During the 1940's Manipur started its independence movement with modern political figure for a modern republic. Just like India , Manipur also got independence in August 14, 1947. Manipur Assembly was form in 1948, new constitution was adopted at that time and the king was the head of the assembly. So it's like constitutional Monarchy. But in 1949 the king of Manipur was invited in Shillong for a so called "Meeting" and was house arrested to signed the MERGER AGREEMENT. He denied it because he had to discuss it with the assembly committee. But....... That's how Manipur was annexed by India And then the Manipur's assembly was dissolved And Manipur became a PART C state 😀 Imagine the downfall You don't have any political rights, ruled by a commissioner Everything was controlled from Delhi for 23 years Until 1972 after so many struggle Manipur got statehood This is the biggest struggle for the Manipuris And that's how the first Insurgent group UNLF was formed around 1964. Every community(Meitei, Naga, Kuki, paangal) came together for the Independence movement again. When people have grievances that's how revolution start But instead of addressing this genuine grievances GOVT OF INDIA further pushed the people away by introducing AFSPA I don't wanna explain, not only Manipur but how many inhumane treatment the whole North East had went through under AFSPA for the past 40-50 years How many innocent life butchered. 1000+ extrajudicial killings All I can say is THE INSURGENCY is not going Infact the new wave of Insurgency is already started in Manipur after this 1 year artificially engineered violence. All I can say is Manipur was HUMILIATED by India in post colonial period. And the grievances is not going soon, so is the insurgency

From what I can tell, Manipur was caught up in the power struggles of advanced nations. Had manipur been given a couple more centuries, it would have been a perfect. The tribes in manipur, had it been given a few more centuries, they would have assimilated. Look at some of the tribal lores, dresses, etc, they're similar. Even your rival ethnic group right now (kukis) have started adopting meitei culture abit from what I can tell, their dress style, words, etc was starting to morph into manipuri. That's why I said, give it a few more centuries then it would have been able to handle the partition and infighting problems as well. Northeast is like 90s balkan right now.

During the post colonial period when the idea of nation state came in Manipur only got 11 months experience of it as an independent republic. And everything went downhill with the force annexation Infact it's the British and Post colonial Indian laws are the one who divides this population and compartmentalise it People started to internalise this division within themselves For example the nomenclature you're using "Tribe", "Non tribe" which was created by the British and further took down by the Indian state. Because of all this compartmentalisation people out here are not able to find a common good Every crisis is a moment of change Hope Manipur will be able to reinvent themselves again

It's very easy to narrate and describe the facts of North Eastern insurgency. But 72 years of merger with Bharat was not pleasant experience for the indigenous peoples of North Eastern States. As a result Manipur is burning since 3rd May 2023 and it's intensity of violence is not came down till the date. Recently a new are which was not affected by on going narco- terrorist conflict is ground zero of violence nowadays.

Because there is a huge difference in culture, ethnicity and sensibility. Right after independence, most people preferred to stay sovereign but were forcefully Integrated into India. From the mainland perspective, they might call it insurgency but, from the NEastern perspective, it is revolution for independence.

Illegal immigrants from Bangladesh do pose a problem when it comes to resource burden and law and order issues but there are not the factors responsibille for the insurgency. It seems like you didn't even watch the whole video. Not even mainland Indias can buy land in NE states(except some regions) let alone the Bangladeshis. Main Reason for the formation of KLO. Being son of the soil Today we(Koch) became refugees in our own land bcz of the outsider. Like Tripura and Manipur our Koch Bihar(Cooch Behar) princely State joined with India on 28th August,1949.after joining with India, Indian Government divided us into pieces some parts fall in Assam and some in West Bengal. We lost our language. Bcz we have to speak state officials languages. Hum log ko toh khatam kar diya.... Pehele ki india Pakistan ki divide meh hamlogo ka Rangpur Bangladesh(East Pakistan) meh chalaya gaya tha.... KLO ka demand he recreation of Kamatapur state which was taken at the time of joining(Kishanganj(Bihar), North Bengal and Lower Assam)and include Kamatapuri language in 8th Schedule.

North East states are not part of India, before the India indipendent they got freedom from british . The north east state are the princely states, India forcely Marge to union of India. The Marger agreements 1949 september 21 is against the people Kangleipak. So , many of petroitic youths are war against India since 1950 .
