Today were marrying Stardew's goodest boy, Sam! Through this series I've gotten a lot of comments telling me that Sam is the sweetest, most lovable dork in all of Stardew Valley and I wanted to see if this was true! So let's find out, is Sam Stardew Valley's best husband?

I'm a serial Elliot marrier, but Sam is so underrated! He's kind, considerate, pursues his dreams, has a job, and looks after his little brother. People say he's immature, but he's one of the most responsible spouses in the game.

i dont think hes immature, i think he just doesn’t care about other peoples opinions and does what he enjoys regardless of what others say (and also probably has ADHD lol). having a secure and confident sense of identity is a very attractive trait imo :D

@@parkerwentzel That's interesting, my impression is he cares a lot about other people and is one of the more considerate characters despite the rebellious streak. If anything he cares too much about what his helicopter mom thinks and should learn to stand up to her lol. I 100% agree about the ADHD! It's also nice that he's so well-adjusted despite it, if that makes sense. He seems like someone who's happy with his life despite the problems he has, and that's a rare thing.

yeah, i feel like ppl hate on him a little too much for being immature, sure there are certain things he does that bother me (mainly how if you call him out for skateboarding on someone's property he goes "i guess i'll never skateboard ever again then") but imo he gets better, and jodi is kind of a helicopter mom and his dad was gone for a long time so i can see why he'd be a bit irresponsible, and all things considered he's adjusted super well for having been raised that way, and he clearly wants to keep getting better. maybe i'm just biased bc i also grew up around a helicopter mom but still lol

I think a big part of it is once you have kids together, he has a ton of dialogue lines that are just him being really happy he's a parent too! That's something the video didn't show too well, but can't blame nino for that one

Something I like about Stardew Valley is, no one's perfect. Every bachelor(ette) can be someone's most or least favorite, and there's no real right or wrong; it's all a matter of preference, there are valid reasons to like or dislike anyone

I agree! I keep seeing people saying how much they love Maru, Penny or Elliott for example and it’s just so nice. They aren’t my favorite (it’s Sam lol), but there are other people that don’t like Sam much but prefer Harvey or something. You love to see that

NINO I BEG YOU please do a spin-off series of this one with Stardew Valley Expanded! You can call it like "Should You Marry: EXPANDED" or "Who ELSE Should Your Marry" or something! This series was what led me to your channel and you're now one of my favorite KZfaqrs. It'd be awesome to see a spin-off so that we (I lol) can hold on for just a little longer.

Out of all the characters I’ve married so far (Shane, Sebastian, Harvey, and Elliot) I’d have to say that Elliot is my favorite just because of how sweet he is to the player and his 14 heart event is absolutely beautiful.

Elliott got ruined for me at 10 hearts, unlike most of the other marriage candidates, he doesn’t ask before he kisses you, and when he does he traps you in the middle of the ocean. I can’t judge though I’m a chronic Sam marrier (Also the yandere mod scarred me)

@@kay19129 No, not romance but you can have him move in as a friend. And instead of kissing you hug him. You have to give him a void pendent bought from the dessert traitor, then give it to him when he's at ten hearts and he'll move in in three days. Hope this helps!

In my second play through I had already decided to marry Sam and I was basically speed running to marry him before Kent came back (it was near the end of summer) we’ve been married for 10 years now and have a 9 year old toddler named Rosie and my bf is a lesbian who’s married to Haley lol.
