I think one thing that also helps are the options she have on her second heavy. Sure,she can GB, but also have dodge cancel which can translate *very freaking quick* into a bite,bash or ledge. Its a very good tool when you decide to go full unga bunga on the character, since a lot of people only expect the 50/50 at most. Also, due bleed, she have stupid good sinergy with a lot of heroes, mainly nobu and PK, but an underrated one is gladiator and WM because skewer pins down. Personally, I think Zerker is still best because HA spam + dodge cancel and a confirmed deflect, but Shaman is pretty close

Honestly with shaman I say she is pretty good in duels the only downside with her is that some of her stuff is reactable like her bash and her zone a bit but overall great video man

ways i try to hit the bite is when bleeding, if they throw an unblock able, do the back step and if they feint or let it fly you should be able to time the bite, also on zone's like zerker or anyone with a bunch swing i side step and eat for the last one to get about halfway through and release bite. bite is also guaranteed off GB throw iirc

Shaman is honestly a unique hero even though she’s only a top 10 duelist she can do so well against meta hero’s because of how she’s designed and to have the ability to turn the fight around

Shaman is one of my favorite heros and one of my most played. So I do agree with that she has the best pressure in duels but berserker has more anti -gank pressure.

I mained her and the amount of times i started a fight at almost 1 hit and won with full health and not even using an execution is crazy

Shaman is definitely better at dueling than valk, but there’s no way she’s better in dom. Valk has the better feats for 4’s, better anti gank, better hitboxes, better roll catcher, and arguably the best zone attack in the game for clearing minions. It’s hard for Shaman to get max value from her bleed in team fights cause your bites get interrupted most of the time.
