Green of course is a special color. It is special because Allah has chosen it as one of the colors of the beauty of Jannah. And He mentioned it not once, not twice but four times (kahf 31, Al Insan 21, Ar Rahman 64 and Ar Rahman 76). We dont need to ask ourselves why green. Remember that Allah is beautiful and loves beauty. So for Allah to choose green, then it must be the most beautiful green you'll ever see! So we must know that the color green on earth is nothing compared to green in Jannah. Anything in Jannah is beyond our imagination! And Allah has told us repeatedly in Surahs 43, 41, 50 that we will have whatever we desire. So if one desires a garment of a different color he/she will have it In sha Allah! So when someone now makes it mandatory that his attire must be green, the masjid must be green, the carpets of masjid must be green then this becomes a problem. This becomes innovation because our prophet peace be upon him did not forcefully use white for everything. And about the color green, here is what our prophet peace be upon him said: "The people will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment, and my community and I will be on a hill. God Most Exalted will then clothe me in a green garment and permit me to supplicate Him and I will say whatever He wills I should say; this is the station of praise and honor (al-Maqam al-Mahmud)" [recorded by Imam Ahmed]. And Allah knows best!

Domes are green because at that time were made mostly out of the copper(outer lining)and copper oxidizes in green. Nevertheless, green is a color of the nature and eyes who look at the lush green pastures get rested. Green is calm and peaceful. Green means good crops, prosperity and welness. Green and gold is the best combination, they compliment each other. There is nothing wrong to love green color or preffer it.

In some sufi/barelvi "clans" they wear a particular color which would help to identify their clan. There's green, orange, brown and I think also orange. I forgot the name of the clans though. Also forgot about the proper name so I wrote "clans". Not all barelvis know about these but it's common among the sufi-barelvis

Just to add. The only Green clothing mentioned in the Qur'an are the ones the people of jannah will wear. Those will have gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place. (Surah 18:31)

5 Rights Of Quran On Believers The book of Allah, the Holy Quran has rights on believers These 5 rights of the Quran are listed below; 1. To believe like it should be believed 2. To read as it demands reading 3. To understand as it should be understood 4. To act upon it like it demands action 5. To disseminate like it has the right to be disseminated ( to spread the massage of Quran) 1. To believe like it should be believed; By definition belief means “to accept that something is true without any proof”. Merely reciting the Quran will not lead to believing it wholeheartedly. To understand and to act upon it demands utmost belief that it is Allah’s Speech. This level of belief will raise its significance in our lives. “This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah” [Quran 2:2] 2. To Read as it Demands: Recitation of the Quran demands effort. Basic etiquettes should be followed like doing Wudhu before reciting, sit at a silent place and in a proper manner. Moreover, recitation should be correct like the language of demands proper Tajweed and Makharij. Pronunciations and delivery of words of the Quran needs special emphasizes which most of the people take for granted and read in their own style. A proper schedule should be followed like any other important task of life is planned and executed at proper times. Portions of the Quran should be learned by heart. These Ayaats should be repeated daily during 5 prayers throughout the day. Learning of the Quran has immense rewards. “Recite the Qur’ān, because it will come on the Day of Judgement and intercede for its people.” [Sahih Muslim] 3. To Understand: Make it a source of guidance. To understand, translations are a good start. But the student of Quran should not stop there. True guidance can be gained when you understand its language because Quranic language is different and translation does not convey true essence. “This is a blessed Book which We have revealed to you so that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.” [Quran 38:29] 4. To Act Upon It As It Demands: Part of belief comes from actions. When you actually believe in something or someone you would do anything as is being commanded. Quran has that same very basic right on you. When you claim to believe, it should not be mere by words. It should be proven by actions. Whatever you gain or understand which is relevant to you should become part of your life instantly. “Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allāh and establish prayer and spend out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, can expect a trade that will never fail.” [Quran, 35:29] 5. To Disseminate Like It Has Right To Be Disseminated: Your actions become the message of the Quran if they are in accordance with its teachings. What you learn from the Quran, it has the right on you to disseminate among your fellowmen. Ways of dissemination should be subtle and not in such a way that it hurts someone’s integrity or freedom to choose. “And who is better in speech than he who [says: ‘My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness),’ and then stands firm (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah’s (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: ‘I am one of the Muslims’” [Quran 41:33] quransession.com/2019/08/02/5-rights-of-quran-on-believers/

@awaishssn
@awaishssn 3 жыл бұрын
The crescent moon and star symbol was the seal of the Ottomans which was the bastion of Islamic civilization for half a millennia. When it dissolved, many of the resulting countries went on to adopt the symbol. Turkey and Pakistan famously. But the use of symbols is not islamic. Which is why many muslim countries opt to have text on their flags. The prophet flew a black banner. I was interested in the origins of the cresent and star symbol, because isnt it ridiculous that there could ever be a star within a crescent moon. Something so silly didn't seem islamic at all to me. Truth is I found it to be an anceint symbol from babylonian era that represents Saturn and its moon Saturn was deified in many pagan religions and worshipped as a god. Evil jinns were the one who taught humanity to look for signs in the celestial bodies and thus commit shirk. At particular times saturn was in a position that caused it to reflect light on the bottom hemisphere side appearing like a cresent and with its moon appearing like it was in the middle of the crescent

Here are some motivating tips from Allah and the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) to help you raise your degrees in Jannah as well as increase your property in Shaa Allah. I) Raise your degrees 1) Memorising the Quran Abd-Allah Ibn 'Amr narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"It will be said to the companion of the Quran : Recite and rise in status, recite as you used to recite in the world, for your status will be at the last verse that you recite." [ Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood ] 2) Doing a lot of dhikr Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"Shall I not inform you the best and the purest of your deed in the sight of your Master, which is the highest in your degrees, is superior to your spending gold and silver in charity, and is better than confronting and fighting against your enemy, cutting one another's necks?". The companions submitted :"Yes, indeed!". He (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"It is remembering Allah." [ Sahih Tirmidhi ] 3) Doing good deeds(at least compulsory good deeds) and staying away from bad deeds Allah said :" And whoever comes to Him (Allah) as a believer, and has done righteous good deeds, for such are the high ranks (in the Hereafter)." (Quran 20:75) 4) Doing a lot of nawafil (non compulsory deeds) According to Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :" Allah said :" Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant : he hates death and I hate hurting him." [ Bukhari ] 5) How to earn Jannat ul-Firdaws (highest degree in Jannah) Allah said :"1) Certainly the believers have succeeded : 2) They who are during their prayer humbly submissive, 3) And they who turn away from ill speech, 4) And they who are observant of Zakah, 5) And they who guard their private parts, 6) Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed, 7) But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors, 8) And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive, 9) And they who carefully maintain their prayers, 10) Those are the inheritors, 11) Who will inherit Al-Firdaws. They will abide theirein eternally." (Quran 23 : 1-11) 6) Making a sincere du'aa that you desire Jannat ul-Firdaws It was recorded in the Two Sahihs that the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"If you ask Allah for Paradise, then ask Him for Al-Firdaws for it is the highest part of Paradise, in the middle of Paradise, and from it spring the rivers of Paradise, and above it is the Throne of the Most Merciful." [ Bukhari and Muslim ] II) Increase your property II-1) How to earn a palace 1) Reciting 10 times surah 'Ikhlas' The Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:"Whoever recites Qul huwallaahu aHad (Surah Ikhlaas) ten times, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." [Saheeh al-Jaami’ al-Sagheer, 6472)] PS : It is a very easy way to earn a palace and it only takes about one minute. So you can earn 10 palaces in 10 minutes. Don't waste this great opportunity and try to make this a motivating habit and earn as many palaces as you can. 2) Praying 12 rak'aat in a day Narrated by Umm Habibah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"A house will be built in Heaven for one who prays 12 Sunnat Rak'aat in a day and evening as follows : 4 rak'aat before and 2 after the Dhur Prayer, 2 after the Maghrib Prayer, 2 after the 'Ishaa' Prayer and 2 before the Fajr Prayer." [ Tirmidhi ] PS : According to the scholars, the 4 rak'aat should be performed by 2 prayers of 2 rak'aat 3) Building a masjid The Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"Whoever builds a masjid (mosque) for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise." [ Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim ] 4) Abandoning arguments and lies and improving your behaviour Abu Umamah (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"I am a guarantor for a house on the outskirts of Paradise for whosoever leaves off arguing, even if he is in the right; and a house in the center of Paradise for whosoever abandons falsehood, even when joking; and a house in the upper-most part of Paradise for whosoever makes his character good." [ Abu Dawud ] II-2) How to earn other great things in your property 1) A tree in Jannah Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (RA) reported that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"I met Nabi Ibrahim (AS) when I was taken on Mi'aj (ascension to the heavens) and he told me :"O Muhammad, convey my salam (greetings) to your ummat and tell them that Jannah has good soil and sweet water, but it is barren. The plantation of Jannah is (the recital of) Subhan'Allah, Alhamdulill'AH? La ilaha illa Allah and Allahu Akbar." [ Sunan Tirmidhi, hadith: 3462. Imam Tirmidhi has classified his hadith as sound (hasan) ] 2) A palm tree in Jannah Hadhrat Jaa'bir (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"For the person who recites 'SUBHAN'ALLAH HIL AZEEM WA BIHAMDIHI' (Pure and Perfect is Allah in his glory and praise], - A date palm will be planted for him in Paradise". [ Tirmidhi ] 3) Treasures of Jannah Hadhrat Abu Dharr (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :" Should I not tell you of one treasure of the unlimited treasures of Paradise?" I replied spontaneously "Oh Rasulallah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) that would be an honor indeed!" Rasulallah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"That rare is 'LA HAWLA WA LA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH."(There is no power and no strength except with Allah) [ Ibn Majah ] 4) A particular amazing room Abdallah Ibn 'Amr (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"There is a room in Paradise whose outside is seen from its inside and whose inside is visible from its outside." So Abou Malk Al Ach'ari (RA) asked :"For whom is it, O Messenger of Allah?". He (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"These rooms will belong to the ones who speak good words, feed the poor, they fast and pray at night when people are at sleep." [ Reported by Tabarani and authenticated bu Shaykh Albani in Sahih Targhib No. 617) PS : These 4 conditions can be done during Ramadan. So let's all strive for this amazing room. 5) Hoor Al Ain (women of Paradise) The Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"Whoever suppresses anger and he is able to act upon it, then Allah (SWT) will call him on the day of judgement in front of everyone and make him choose whichever one of the women of Paradise he wants (of Al hoor Al Ayn)". [ Sahih Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud ] 6) An honorable place in Jannah Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning and evening, Allah will prepare for him a place in Paradise for every morning and evening.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 631, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 669 PS : Let's not let go of all of these wonderful rewards. Because remember, the bigger your property, the greater the pleasure. It's time for us to wake up. Share this with others so that you gain as much rewards as them practising. The Masjids at the time of the Prophet (saaw) didn't have domes. They came into existence hundreds of years later.

A masjid doesn't need to have a dome. It's just kind of decoration you can say, beautification of the building.

Nope...however the architecture and construction of the dome was perfected by the Ummayyids and they were proud to display their skills in front of the Byzantines and the Persians. Domes were used in many other buildings before primarily being used for mosques

Its just an architectural technique but a very very great one. There's nothing inherently islamic about it. Allah gave this shape in its very nature and physicality the capability of being structurally extremely strong, acoustically sound(hehe!), econimcally accessible, aesthetically pleasing, psychologically heavenly(okay this one is maybe too far). You dont have to fill your large spaces with rows upon rows of pillars as the dome can hold itself allowing for large gatherings without interruption. We humans learnt the nature of domes through caves which is a great place to pray and connect with Allah. And anyways, Allah made the sky as a ceiling to the earth, and what shape is the sky if not a dome. :)

The islamic flag is green beside that the color green is a symbol of prosperity and good life. It is mentioned in the noble Qur`an as the color of the garments and cushions of the people of paradise. Allah says ( interpretation of the meaning): Those will have gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place. [ Qur'an 18:31] Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. [ Qur'an 22:63] Upon the inhabitants will be green garments of fine silk and brocade. And they will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a purifying drink. [ Qur'an 76:21] There are way more verses in the Qur'an that speak about the green color.... The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said that God will clothe him in green on the Day of Judgment as per his words, "The people will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment, and my community and I will be on a hill. God Most Exalted will then clothe me in a green garment and permit me to supplicate Him and I will say whatever He wills I should say; this is the station of praise and honor (al-Maqam al-Mahmud)" [recorded by Imam Ahmed]. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) also said that the souls of martyrs are kept in the crops of green birds. And Allah knows best.....

The domes exist to project the sound. Speakers didn't exist back then but a domed roof can help project your voice to a larger amount of people.
