I reside in Oklahoma but have lived in three deep south states in the past plus 5 countriies, 2 midwestern states, 2 north east states and one western state.

Those are truly beautiful places, and very unique. My life has been lived out of the suitcase so to speak. I was a traveling aircraft mechanic, and flight simulator tech. Maine, and Rhode Island are the only two states I havent been to. I'm pushing 80 now, and retired 6 years ago, but still love to travel. @@spookyscaryskull2982

What makes me laugh is folks from outside the south that think that southerners are all racist. If only they could travel and find out. LOL I've lived all over the US and several countries, and found that there are always the fools that think their oponion of others is correct because their peers tell them that. Every place I lived I found more good in people than bad.

I live in Georgia. Near Brunswick and the Golden Isles. I would consider North Carolina part of the Deep South also.

Maybe you would, but it's really mid-Atlantic. I'm from Louisiana, and have lived in NC. It's nothing like the south. Too many Yankees have moved there and brought their culture and politics with them.

@@als3243 a lot of Yankees have and are moving to Georgia also believe me, and that does not change the fact that is and still is a Southern state just like North Carolina.

I'm 68 yrs old. Lived in southern Louisiana all my life. Great content except the tea part. Where I'm from we always have sweet or unsweetened tea and the sweet tea is not as sweet as he makes it sound.

It’s about time Texas is removed from being considered a part of The South, especially the Deep South. While true that Texas fought for the Confederacy, I wouldn’t consider Texas part of the South or part of “The Deep South”. Texas was its own country at one time, has its own culture. Sweet tea isn’t a given here, our gravy isn’t brown-we love creamy, peppered, white gravy. We love college football AND our love affair for HS football is probably unparalleled. As for accents, it might sound similar to classic Southern if you live anywhere else, but but native Texans know the state is so big there are regional accents that are audibly different.

@@michaelboswell2168 Oh I am soooooooo with you on the Libs & Dems thing.. And as long as bbq sauce isn’t vinegar based, I’m happy. Louisiana is a terrific state with a wonderful culture which fortunately for us, crept in to parts of a south & Southeast Texas. I think the swamps are beautiful. But, Texas as a whole is not part of the Deep South. Sorry,. That would be like saying, New Orleans & Baton Rouge supported the Yankees…and NOT the baseball team.

@@TheLaurkenGroup you're trippin, we are the south, it's a red state that loves God and guns and beer, we hunt and fish and drive trucks u can say we have cities like Austin but so does Tennessee with Nashville and NC with Asheville. We're just a big state but honestly the last line of defense against tyrannical government from the Dems and If fighting the Biden admin isn't a southern value then idk what is
