To clear things up for everyone the Korean version is viewed by everyone outside of Japan while in Japan the Japanese version is for the Japanese. The animators and writers will have to work hard to not distribute the wrong one to legal anime sites so if you notice an episode not making sense and a few hours later it is removed or there is a delay in an episode time it just means they messed up and are fixing the problem. Do not worry about the story changes this will be a short season to avoid those risk later in the future.

Yeah, only Japan Netto-uyoku (right-wing on Internet) and nationalists have problems about Korean names and Korean settings in animes cuz they think Koreans are stealing their recourses to make their IPs so Japan’s IPs got less opportunities to be adapted. I saw tons of Japanese comments whining about these

The beef is over current decisions. Japan still officially denies the existence of horrific acts they performed against the Korean people. Also, this isn't several generations ago. The way this dude talks about Korea and Japan is a good example of how extreme "neutrality" can end up heavily biased for one side. In this case, Japan. With how vague he talks, I could assume they both regularly colonized each other. Japan straight up took over Korea for 40 years and only stopped after the end of WWII. Japan spent decades trying to eliminate Korea's language and culture, which, with that knowledge, makes getting rid of all korean names in this anime seem worse. There was also mass murder and sexual slavery of teenage girls.

he popularized level and ability systems in manhwas and mangas. theres legit 50 of them having the same damn color for their panel.
@newp0rt5 ай бұрын
not really. it was already popularized waaay before with light novels. a metric ton of light novels have the same premise as solo leveling which meant any manhwa adaptations would have them. solo leveling, second life ranker, nano machine, etc all the most popular light novels all had them, so when they all started getting adapted from top to bottom, it was just a huge influx of them.
@newp0rt5 ай бұрын
nano machine doesnt have a blue system but still has a system helping him, just like absolute sword sense, and all the other popular light novels. swap a blue system for a hidden spirit or whatever.

you shouldn’t speak so lightly about such issues The Japanese’s government has not apologised for the massacre and rape of countless people from multiple countries. It’s ignorant to expect the affected countries to get closure without even an apology. I understand it was meant with good intent but this seems to belittle the national trauma of the colonised countries under imperialism Japan.
