Yeah. I love how this show has characters that kind of have claims for what they are supposed to be but dont fit that at all. Isceam isnt evil, he's just generally edgy, Fwench Fwy isnt constantly good or wholesome, she just puts on that kind of display. Makes for some good comedy.

I think, Time only appears orderly to us mortals bound to it. Like fish in a river. We're 'built' to see time as this system of cause and effect since naturally any alterations to time from something outside it would automatically affect us as well and make whatever changed always have been our norm. From the outside time could be a complete and utter nonsensical mess without any rhyme or reason. 😁

To be frank, I actually prefer analog clocks to digital, for the most part; my solar-powered, non-smart sports watch is ana-digital, in fact, so even though I get the best of both worlds, I strongly lean on the old-skool arms to tell time. And you're right: It's really not complicated. 😁

if you describe it more like a loading icon than literal numbers (the literal numbers are just for reference) that's how I find it makes sense anyways. Like the benefit of analogue clocks is that you kind of better know how much "hour" and "day" is left at a glance.
