I actually bought LG 34wp75cp-b just now after seeing it first hand at friends place. HDR is freaking looking amazing on desktop! Colors are fantastically strong, white and blacks are very pronounced , colors are simply ALIVE. I love the monitor. He got dual setup for work i ordered just 1. Yours seem to be wp65 vs mine wp75 i dont know the difference. I paid 380Euro with discount, People from US can buy this monitor for a minuscule 250$, price is just super low. I wish i could have that price.. I will make quick video of monitor when it arrives. Probably 6th or 7th august. P.S Friend is using monitors for productivity (audio production) font (color, visibility, clarity under HDR) is just wow. Not a single remark! He is using Luna , Ableton etc! This monitor also has 4k PS5 down-scaling support (use hdmi cable that arrives with monitor OR DP to hdmi convertor) But you probably do not want ultra wide for console. Since no console supports ultrawide. On PC gpu can handle scaling of any game to fit. On the other hand you can use Picture-In-Picture option in monitor and have PC and Console at the same time on same screen! P.P.S I know that price of Mini Qled monitors are dropping rapidly , but they still have serious issue with flickering, absolutely not something i wanna see in my monitor. I dont care how good it looks a single flickering would make me toss him out of the window and price for that annoyance is not good enough

I appreciate it! They are 27" 1440p monitors from Gigabyte. They are overkill as side monitors, but they used to be my primary gaming monitors a couple years back. Very happy with them. There is a link into the description to snag them if you're interested!

I want to buy an ultrawide monitor mostly for work and casual gaming but are 1080p games going to look weird on a 1440p screen?

The games will either support ultra wide or it will run on normal 1440p with empty sides (on PS5 and Xbox it will have empty black on both sides)

Just set this up for my PS5, and I think I will be returning because this does not support 1440 120hz gaming I wanted.

Update: I love this monitor but I found out that PS5 does not support ultrawide monitors at 3440x1440. You can still use it but at 1080 60hz. Which is not what I wanted.

Anything 1440p 120hz or 4k 60+ will be great. Shapes and sizes are up to you from there. If you like fps games I'd go 24" or 27. Nothing over 30

I'd argue you'd be overspending if this is mainly for a PS5. The reason why is because most games on PS5 still don't support ultrawide monitors. They will work, but you'll still be playing in the standard 16:9 ratio and the two sides of your screen will be black. If you're doubling this monitor with a PC/Mac to switch to for your other tasks, then it becomes easier to justify. Otherwise, I'd suggest using www.techaudit.tv/best-monitors-for-ps5/ and grab one of the suggested monitors from that page!

Even with the new ps5 update are you sure there will be black bars on the sides ? I think ps5 allows u to stretch to fill the screen now
