The early 19th-century discovery of lead in Wisconsin attracted miners from Cornwall. The peculiar, makeshift dwellings they slept in gave the state its nickname. From: AERIAL AMERICA: Wisconsin bit.ly/1ys7XCr

If you ever get a chance to visit Cornwall, do it! It's beautiful county (some would argue country). Living in the UK, I get to spend my summer holidays there every year. My parents are on holiday there right now. The coast is beautiful and the landscape is stunning. There's still lots of evidence of the mining heritage there too. The countryside is littered with abandoned engine houses. The cottages at 2:08 in this video look so similar to the buildings in Cornwall. I love that!

They probably regretted moving there because now Switzerland is one of the most rich country in the world 😂

The US is the most prosperous nation in the world. The only other country that comes close is China... Are you dense?

In 2017 Switzerland's net per capita financial assets rose by 2.7 percent in 2016 to 175,720 euros, while the US saw growth of 5.8 percent to take it to 177,210 euros. And that's just per-capita, it's not even close where GDP is concerned... Spoilers, USA blows Switzerland's GDP out of the water.

No, actually we like living here. Wouldn’t trade it for a life in Switzerland, or anywhere else in Europe for anything.
