The other thing that makes me kind of laugh about Catch is that everytime someone develops a "new" way of playing jiujitsu, it's just making it more like CACC.

True! My friend, who's also a wrestling coach, teaches at this certain MMA gym. His wrestling class starts right after the BJJ class. The veterans there at that gym often cross-train in BJJ, muay thai, boxing, and wrestling in one day. But when the wrestling session is about to start, most of them drop out. It's too hard, they say. Yep, wrestling is a demanding sport -- much harder than voluntary butt flopping.

Even the toughest people in the world don’t wana do wrestling, mma fighters notoriously hate the wrestling practices . Says enough haha

Catch wrestling takes grit and grind. Jii jitsu is just lying on your back

Guard passing the most boring part of grappling spectating anyway

the subs in catch are fast and then on to the next one without stopping , wrestling in general is fast paced while jujitsu is slow and boring. the fact that people even still teach position before submission is horrible. Jujitsu is very easy and lazy compared to catch
