The little red ceramic dish is an anthurium flower. Tropical and grows outdors in Hawaii, etc. You can buy potted ones in US.

The multi-colored striped glasses were fiestaware. I used to have a whole set and the matching fiestaware silverware. I had plates, too. Loved them. Back when you could pick them up at yard sales for a few dollars!

Its a shame that USPS keeps raising prices. I know they are trying to stay afloat, but in actuality they are hurting themselves (and me LOL). Sellers are either staying away from larger items or using other shipping platforms.

The higher cost of gas especially in summer, the higher cost of auto repair and the cost of auto parts should be taken into consideration before we start to shame them unless they get discounts or something.

Modern Vintage Booth: you picked up a small metal chair with a red cloth seat and lots of curled metal. As a young kid of about 11 or 12, back in the early 1970s, one of my uncles had me making such chairs, footstools and sofas. We’d make entire matched sets. They were made from aluminum beer cans, of all things. You removed the can top, cut down thin strips from the can sides, with tin snips and proceeded to roll and shape the legs and chair backs using the “key” removed from the old style Canned Meat container cans (like Spam). As I got better at it I used other types of cans to get different shaped seats, tables, beds etc. If you wanted you could paint them and upholster the seats, but I always like selecting the cans themselves to make the furniture’s colors. Pabst Blue Ribbon would produce Red, White and Blue, Blatz produced Gold, while other brands gave you varying paint schemes.

Back in my nursing days I did a private duty case from time to time with a widower dementia sufferer who was retired from the stock market business. He and his late wife were childless and world travelers. They had collected a number of bonsai trees that had real jade leaves. There was other interesting artwork in their apartment too.

The Wicker mini furniture in the Willow Creek booth, pick that up next time. Perfect for Barbie Doll dream house. These doll house items sell upwards of 65.00 and higher. My 4 year old loves real looking furniture for her dolls over the cheap plastic things. I’m always on the search for stuff. LOL

I thought I had a box of high end drawer pulls a few weeks ago, from Goodwill also. When I did an in depth search I found that the previous owner had put their old pulls into the high end box that their new pulls came in. I won't make that mistake again. LOL

LA Shoe Republic tall heel shoes.: I don’t know about value, but we used to find a lot of that style back when we cleared out storage units. Collectively we called them Stripper Shoes, or Hooker Heels for obvious reasons.

@@PatriciaBrown1711 As Karen plainly shows us it is hard work, but will pay off in the end. I am enjoying my retirement and was really glad to be here on the island during the pandemic. We at least could get out and enjoy the outdoors unlike people in areas where it gets very cold in winter.

@@PatriciaBrown1711 Thank you. I think it was easier when I was doing it. The Canadian dollar was low at .50 - .60 range compared to the American dollar and shipping rates were a lot cheaper. Ebay fees were much lower too.

Peace lilies. Always wanted one but my house is not conducive to tropical plants I heat with wood in an old house so very cold , drafty and dry . Worked for a doctor who had a gorgeous one here in NH it was my job t o keep it alive a little tricky here in NH . He liked o keep in the large window but if we forgot to move away from the drafty window say for a weekend when we got in next work day it would be very sad and droopy .

I don't offer free shipping either. If they can afford the item, they can afford the shipping. BTW, a similar teakwood set was a wedding gift to me in 1976. I still have it. The flower-shaped basket is NOT common. I'm a master basketmaker and haven't seen another like it. It's an import, probably from Taiwan. I doubt that they made many of them, because it would be time-consuming to achieve that shape. Those weavers have quotas to meet. All baskets are handmade, no machine has been invented that's capable of weaving a basket.

Country Gentlemen Wool Felt Hat name: not sure I’d use Wool and Safari in the same description, but would certainly use Fedora and add in other words that bring up an image of a good outdoor brimmed felt hat, such as: Traveler, Teton, Range, Outdoorsman, etc.

Safari style hats can be in same style/shape, but usually the material is more “breakable” then wool felt, especially the modern ones.
