Reminds me a little - a little - of Jimmy Butler. Butler was 6-7, strong, the 30th pick in a draft - took four years of NBA experience to develop but when the light went on, he became one of the best. Tyson will need to improve a lot but so did Butler. At least, Tyson is willing to work and do the little things that help teams win. That is a big first step into growing into a more talented player.

This pick is about asset management. It hopes they are able to trade Levert by the trade deadline.

He was not invited to the green room because he had a VERY late round 1/ early round 2 grade!! He is a 2/3....he's not a 3/2...not a 3...not a 3/4 or a 4/3!!! VERY underwhelming pick again by Koby...Last thought...he won't be covering Tatum or Brown....most likely covering Holiday or White...Agree...Cavs love those little wings/ I call them undersized tweeners! Hey Chris...why would Koby...want an upside pick? Pacome Dadiet..Johnny Furphy,,Ryan Dunn with improving offense. Hey Chris...so now you don't even look at the D end...Ryann Dunn can right now defend Boston on the perimeter(Tatum and Brown) Tyson can't!!! D matters...getting multiple stops is what gets teams on runs!! Dunn,Dadiet and Furphy= Big mistake!
@AndrewPolander
@AndrewPolander Ай бұрын
Not drafting Ryann Dunn will come back to haunt the Cavs ...just like Tari Eason not being selected ! Your only chance to be Boston is to have top flight Defensive perimeter Wings with size and length! Gansey saying they wanted a more ready player doesn't make any sense at all...Knicks down the road will love Pacome Dadiet..he was along with Dunn the 2 players I was hoping for when Cavs were on the clock! Very underwhelming....Koby loves undersized positional players little wings! Okoro,Agbaji and now Tyson...enough said!

Let’s face it the Cavs always select “undersized” players!! Looking at the Cav roster their players are too short or too slight. Allen and Mobley are too light in the pants and routinely get pushed around; Okoro, Strus, and Niang, are often too short or LeVert & Batea are too slight; While Garland, Mitchell, and Porter are asked to defend backcourts they have to look up to. Then they have players who are not aggressive enough like Merrill and Ward to contribute consistently count on. Is Tyson is more of the same!! Tyson played in a conference where he was a big fish in a small pond; it will not be that way in the NBA. I think the Cavs needed to snatch up either the Kansas forward (Furphy) or the Dayton Flyer (Holmes) when they were available. We’ll see! BTW the height of 6’6 or 6’7” is often misleading.
