Honestly I backed GP through thin and thick moments, but I still never understood why we let TT go in the first place. I'm just hoping either GP gets his shit together and so does the squad, or we get another talented German manager to come in and make us world-class again because as a fan for 11 years I have never been so unmotivated to watch Chelsea matches other than maybe the season before Conte came in when we finished mid table. Incredible video, as a Chelsea fan with limited knowledge of Nagelsmann this was an amazing watch.

Seeing a few “potter in” comments but here’s the thing: It doesn’t matter if he’s not doing “terrible” right now, or if the players like him, or whatever. The players like him because the relationship with Tuchel got bad, so anyone nicer will make them happy. They definitely do not Respect him tho, as a couch, a tactician, or someone who can take them to a higher plane. Potter is a likeable guy, but Chelsea is the most hated club in the world. We need a manager who has a fire within who will fight against the hate, not sit back and say “the boys have everything” after every game. We need a manager who willl make subs that are NEEDED WHEN THEY’RE NEEDED, not change to hide in the back against a relegation bound team like Everton. My point is Potter, as great as he can be, isn’t a manager with the CV, enthusiasm, or tactics to handle a big club and take them to where we wanna be: A man city like dominating dynasty.

For me Nagelsmann is the best option for Chelsea already with the squad as it is, add to that Nkunku coming in and it becomes even more so. He is perfect for young players and transitional play which is exactly the type of squad Chelsea has.

What I want is for potter to go and bring in a standard manager that will rescue Chelsea season from destruction. That's all because potter has mortgaged our beautiful club.

I can't agree with the Levi Colwill recommendation, yes he's a good passer and maybe could make a half-decent CM but those defensive stats 😬. He's in the 1st percentile for tackles and blocks, 8th for clearances and a bang average 55th for interceptions, I mean YIKES!😱 His aerial duels are good but he's averaging 1 tackle/block every 3 games 🤮, the boy's a bloody Center-Back who can't tackle🤦‍♀. It doesn't matter how good your other skills are, the one crucial skill for a CB is being able too defend, just look at the trouble we've had playing Cucurella at CB. Maybe the stats you showed are incorrect or misleading somehow but then we couldn't trust his positive stats either. It's easy to get excited about players with unique skillsets, GK's who play with feet, CB's who can pass/attack, ST's who can playmake/defend. But those skills usually come at the expense of the more traditional ones, it's nice to have a CB who can pass but it's crucial that they can defend.
