@@janina8559 I love stories about marriages that work out between a younger man and an older woman. It's refreshing to have real life examples of men who aren't just chasing women for a quick fling. I guess it plays into the Oedipus complex but that doesn't matter if the marriages are happy and fulfilling to the couple. Alfred Molina's first marriage was to a woman 16 years his senior and when Jill Gascoine was suffering from Alzheimer's, he did his best to look after her. Granted, he's now married to the much younger Jennifer Lee but considering he and Jill literally stayed together "till death do us part" in a marriage that lasted for 34 years, I think it's safe to say that he genuinely loved her. Hugh Jackman is happily married to a woman 13 years his senior and still speaks of Deborah Lee Furness with the same love and devotion that he had when he brought her an engagement ring 25 years ago and reportedly gushed about her entire personality to the person he was buying it from. The most mysterious case of a younger man having a successful marriage to an older woman is Raymond Chandler and Cissy Pascal. After Cissy's death, Raymond built her up into an almost mythical figure, keeping much of her true self a mystery to the point where it's sometimes hard to tell if he truly loved her or simply idolised her. It's both unsettling and fascinating.
