Ай бұрынWe researched a lot and found that there isn’t a single comprehensive Kashmir itinerary available. So, in this series, we will provide you with a complete itinerary to make your Kashmir trip smoother. 😍✨
We are from Mumbai (Bombay), so we took a train from Mumbai to Udhampur (Jammu). The trip ticket cost us around 700 per person (Non-AC sleeper). After 28 hours of train journey, we reached Udhampur. From Udhampur, we took a local bus (Matador) to Banihal. From Banihal railway station, we took a train to Srinagar. This route is complicated but it takes less time to reach, and you will experience the best train journey in India from Banihal to Srinagar. 🤩🏔️
🚫NOTE: From Banihal to Srinagar, there are regular trains every 2 hours.
The railway ticket cost us 20/- per person. The next day, we explored Dal Lake. This is the perfect place to start your Kashmir trip. You can see the beautiful lake with many Shikara boats. The Shikara boat cost us around 800 for 3 people, and we explored Gulfam Lake, Mina Bazar, the Floating Garden, and the Lotus Garden. ❤️🤩
