Kendrick defeating Drake in this battle was important because it showed the world that *real rap* will always prevail over social media antics and theatrical substance-less songs. Kendrick really beat Drake using fundamentals. He just out-rapped him to the point that even the average person can acknowledge that Drake lost. He also rolled out each song MASTERFULLY. I couldn't imagine Not Like Us being as popular if it released earlier. But the way he released 616 only to release Not Like Us HOURS LATER was a page straight out of the 48 Laws of Power. He destroyed his enemy from all angles and all sides. To the point that it DOESN'T MATTER how Drake responds; he received an onslaught

The moment I heard Like That, I thought our poetic rap messiah came to murder the popstar. Well... it devolved into an ant calling in other ants("the Culture") to aid him fight an elephant. My disappointment started with that cringe "I'm what the Culture feeling"("Hey guys, look I'm cool, I'm like you guys! They're not like US!") Unlike Nas, Pac, Eminem who went *against* culture tides, we had a last born who's been pampered by the "culture" for a whole decade, running to call their mommy after they threw the first stone. From now henceforth, if I hear Kendrick yap shit like "boogieman," "best rapper alive," "king of the coast" or somethin like that, I'll laugh and call it CAAAP! So did Drake loooose by a landslide? Yes. Now, *Is Kendrick the most pathetic rapper of all time?* YESSSS! The confusion easily resolves if you remember Hakeem vs Freda; Bars and bars alone, Freda smoked Hakeem hard... so hard that hakeem had to appeal to... the **audience's** emotions. Yes! Kendrick Stans are right and self-aware; The audience is INDEED slow. In rap battles, lyrical wit belongs to **rational** category, while shock value, audience appeal, lying..etc belongs to the emotions category. Drake did the earlier, Kendrick did the later(yes Kendrick LIED to win a rap battle, it CAN happen, it's not "impossible") For instance, Drake roasted and flipped the MJ-PRINCE narrative so hard that Kendrick dared not touch it again; but that's just lyrical wit. This is why people handwaving damily matters as "it's not even good itself" are straight retarded tbh. There's a reason Kendrick dropped ~a SLR3 rip-off~ MTG in shock value fashion. Because FM was so great he needed to all that to take-down: A mere popstar. Lol. (FM is my second best track from the beef) The battle has obviously crossed the line of bars, metaphors..etc. The ONLY way for Drake to win is to drop undeniable receipts. Cause, unfortunately, Drake helped Kendrick clout chase his way back to relevance... like it has always been.

I honestly expected Kendrick Lamar to win the beef especially lyrically.Kendrick marketing skills team show really I always felt it it was an massive insult to rap genre to even put Drake in the same tier as Kendrick Lamar,J Cole even rappers like Big Sean or Tyler the Creator are better rappers than Drake. Drake imo is always meh as a rapper but he has good beat selection in his earlier days. Drake honestly stood out because of his singing abilities and that a reason he has a big fanbase. I honestly never liked Drake very much.Dude thought he was tough hanging out with Lil Wayne and Birdman.

So I want to give my opinion on why rappers are really going after Drake period, and why nobody really likes him? It's because Drake keeps lying about writing all of his songs, knowing he don't write nothing, and he actually slept with a rappers girlfriend or lover at the time that actually got him somewhere to me, it seems like you're a grummy ass ninja if you try to be Buddy, Buddy with them and call them your friends, but then you go around and you sleep with people that their weight now, personally, she probably wasn't in a relationship with him anymore she probably left him witch is why I don't appreciate people just calling women harmful terms because they were in a relationship with a rapper they are human beings -_- and they were human beings before they got to date with these rappers, and be with these rappers, they were their own people, so I would like people to treat them like they were their own people before they got into this mess I never understood the appeal of calling woman Thots or sl*ts if you wouldn't call a man that than I don't think it should come out of your vocabulary for women, either in short terms, Kendrick always had the upper hand in this beef. I don't know why people do not like Drake songs, it's because they can't get down to it. Drake, doesn't know what he's talking about, drink is a mega liar a master manipulator can't stop lying, and the only reason why he has never won a tract against Kendrick is because Kendrick writes his own music from the heart actually reads drake meanwhile drake just go by lies and assumptions to get by, he should have stuck to those rap love songs you talk about Drake like he deserves respect whenb it was revealed that he was with a teenager and talking to girls under age and is still talking to them under age
