Why Kendrick Lamar Secretly Hates Big Sean

In a recent verse that was leaked online, Kendrick Lamar is heard absolutely DESTROYING Big Sean within his bars. Saying, quote...
'Big Sean keep sneak dissin', I'll let it slide / I think his false confidence got him inspired / I can't make them respect you baby, it's not my job / You finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme (Boy) / Cute a** raps, get your puberty up / Then make you a classic album before you come at us"
But why did he cook bro so hard? Well, in today's video, I decided to do another deep dive on one most sneakiest rap beefs. So many subluminals were thrown, and it may have been tough to catch each and every one of them.
Btw - I wanna credit ‪@geekboutit‬ for coming out with this title, 'Why Metro Boomin SECRETLY Hates Drake' - my video is a spin on that title with a different narrative.
As always - Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe if you enjoyed!

Name 5 mainstream rappers from 2010-2012 or even the few years before 2010 that heavily had skits on their album. Thats what he means. He not saying no one in the 90s did it. When nipsey died in 2019, big sean and nip were already working on the song Deep Reverence. After nip passed, sean recorded his 2nd verse on the track, not long after. Big Sean talked to joe on Feb 2020 and said that he reached out to kendrick after nip died to connect once again. People tought he was downplaying the beef. Just a heads up for what was mentioned near the end - copyright strikes for music are usually tied to the beat of the song, not the lyrics. They're also usually handled by the label rather than the artist, and even that is not usually done directly by them, but by a method called "audio fingerprints" (any musicians that use services like Distrokid can verify this - platforms like Twitch, KZfaq, and Instagram use similar methods to automatically know when you use somebody's music in your uploads as well). So yeah, dude that leaked that verse getting a copyright strike doesn't necessarily make that "Element" verse real, it just means the beat triggered the system enough for a strike to be issued, especially with how fast it spread.

Me personally i think the beef was both real and fake. On one hand you got someone so serious about climbing the latter in the rap game as fast as possible while the other one writing rhymes just for fun because he just enjoys writing music. Don't want to say Kendrick was just bullying because he was literally the new kid on the block. But if i was big sean i would not have even thrown not one shot because I'd see that i was worthy enough to be called out as one of the greatest rappers in the game to be mentioned and just respect. But thats just me i guess.

Honestly rappers start or maintain their beefs on their own yes. But 90% of the time it’s the fabs the start and maintain it because we typically make comparisons of one rapper to another. Kendrick wasn’t starting no beef, he was literally shaking up the rap game and was successful at doing so. But people only focused on Big Sean because it was his song but nobody really spoke about other rappers responding. This “beef” is honestly on the fans.

I never did believe Control was left off the album because of sample issues but Heart Part IV sharing a sample doesn't mean anything. Kendrick had way more pull in 2017 than Sean did in 2013, he'd have an easier time clearing samples regardless.

The supposed "tweets" from most rappers are them acknowledging that someone who is respected in the rap game called the dame people out that he was collaborating with in a team player attitude. None of that was beef. Some took it personally for sure but those tweets showed how much everyone appreciated having a fire lit under them to get them to show why they had earned a name in the first place. The only real beef Kendrick might have is with drake tbh. But we can save that for another day.

In all honesty that's HIP HOP. Every song or lyric is a flex of skills and mental intellect. That some people can relate to an cause others to think about on a deeper level or on a higher level. Artist want to be the best in their craft an in their field it's almost like samurai challenging others to be the best. And for some of the artists get they get stronger while others fade away to other fields of interest to them.

Bro this is only my 2nd time watching one of your videos (after the reason one) and I have to say this was not enjoyable. Your titles are clickbait, you never leave up an article or quote long enough to be read so the video then has to be paused and rewinded to be read (and this is constant) and throughout the ENTIRE VIDEO all you do is hint to things that will be said "in a minute" or later on in the video. This wasn't even a deep dive, just mentions of what was already known..
