I'm just going to be blunt, those teachers and parents who don't agree with the Core Knowledge Curriculum are conditioned to think a certain way the same way children are conditioned by our public school system.

In other words, those who disagree with Common Core have been TAUGHT to think critically -- to not want to change a process that worked for years. They are not "conditioned" to think at all ... that's a progressive term, and look where the progressive movement in education has taken us !!

Every parent should here this. Also read his book. This is very alarming. Our kids are being cheated big time. I started homeschooling 1 year ago and the more I learn the more I’m convinced I did the right thing. Please, buy his book, Why knowledge Matters. He’s a skilled writer, very easy to follow. I know homeschooling is not for everyone but just know public school curriculum is sadly harming our kids.

@@KyraQ1 Yes, the progressive movement has not helped out education system. The progressive movement has also spilled out into society.

@@kickassv8 Not Common Core, Core Knowledge. Common Core is pushed by our government and used in out public schools. Core Knowledge was founded by Dr. E.D. Hirsch Jr. Two different curriculums.
