Personally, I feel that JJ gave the lil, 'I'm finna take it all the way with g' as insurance in case he can't finish it as fast as he'd like. I'm not saying at all saying my odds are on Wassabi, but I'm sure he just don't wanna deal with people claiming he ain't ready or that he's not comparable to Jake because he doesn't finish it defiantly in a certain time frame.

I think the fight is far enough for his nose to heal as long as the nose is strong enough not to break during the boxing match I think he’ll be fine

I had this happen twice both before pretty big matches,1 was 4 weeks out the other was 6 weeks out... In my experience the better the doctor the quicker the recovery from Realignment... Thanks for the breakdown wade hope you have a good week bro. The only thing that I ran into issues with was after I was touched a couple times in both matches the ability to breathe through my nose was greatly limited so I was mouth breathing a lot...

Firstly, Wade we love you man. Always elite with the concept. As for the people that wanna knock JJ for taking the Wassabi fight and they see it as he's ducking Jake. I look at it like he's dusting the cobwebs off. The world went into lockdown in 2020 and British fighters couldn't fight in the USA. 2021 KSI released music as he said he would... and now he's back to boxing in 2022. Let's see how much JJ has Improved tho. Btw I don't care who wins that fight. Jake is a smart business man and a decent youtube boxer. KSI punches hard too and can take a hit. Looks fun.

Only thing is that, the last two weeks before the fight, you’re really just tapering off. So JJ really only has like 2 weeks to spar if he is taking a break from sparring for the upcoming next 2-3 weeks or so. And Sparring trumps any mitt work, bag work, etc.

TBF I think that JJ will just probably continue with light sparring and body sparing and technical sparring if he goes down that path. Though recently he said he was looking out for his body etc so it could be either option

I have broken my nose twice sparring. It wasn't a problem really and carried on. Mine was the lower cartilage so wasn't really bad as the bridge. Can squash it down to the right side so twice got caught by a big right. Taught me to put my hands up. It's not a huge thing.......boxers deal with many bigger issues ie hands. I had a weird one where tore an ab muscle 4 weeks before fight and that was horrendous as it was the training that really struggled with.

sometimes when you get a Broken nose it can mess up the airways and he can make it harder to breathe through there nose so at fight night it can mess up his breathing pattern he can start breathing through the mouth faster and lose energy faster

yeah his strategy will change after the broken nose. i honestly still think ksi will win just because, once the muscle memory gets used to a certain level. it never leaves. it might take 2 or 1 week to get back to normal self. only problem you will face is cardio. movement gonna be hella sloppy, lungs feel painful. gonna feel weird for a lil bit but will come back. if he can constantly still improve his footwork and cardio. he should have no problem with the time frame.

i think this could also be a blessing in disguise. Jj is feral fighter, meaning once he gets in the ring, we see him just go head hunting and throwing his haymakers. Yes his haymakers may look deadly but in reality against someone who knows how to fight, and also has height/reach on him, its likely gonna work against him. Sound familiar? Now yes, against Logan it barely worked but take in Logan up until that fight had only fought once and it was against the same person. But against Jake, who has experience over jj in term of fights(yes they may be amateur but that doesn't mean they don't matter), his feral fighting style could work against him. So this broken nose forces him to practice protecting himself more and doing more body work. If he does this, he could tire Jake out and knock him clean out in the later rounds. Now against Alex wasabi it doesn't mean jack, but against Jake it could mean the difference in winning and losing. I wish Jj the best.
