Was the Cup Series race at Iowa proof you can't listen to drivers and teams when it comes to repaves? NASCAR on NBC analyst Kyle Petty explains why the sanctioning body should never listen to the garage area when it comes to repaving tracks because they aren't interested in what gives fans the best action.
After a recent tire test at Iowa, we weren't sure what to expect. As it turns out, NASCAR's so-called Frankenstein repave delivered a thrilling show and proved sometimes you have to bite the bullet and repave tracks. We also saw good races at Sonoma Raceway and North Wilkesboro when drivers decried repaves. #NASCAR #shorts #kylepetty #iowaspeedway #nascarplayoffs #nascarracing #nascardriver #nascarnews #racing #motorsports #motorsport
