God says he will never leave or forsake you and when you put your faith in his Son you have been given a guaranteed promise that you belong to him by way of the Holy Spirit sealing you. You can have faith in God that He truly loves you and has given you this help to do what pleases him. It is not about working for God but sincerly loving him with a pure heart and turning toward him in every decision or as he speaks. The way of the world makes us think it is all about being good and doing a works list but it is about loving God and believing His love is indeed unconditional. He continues to care for the world and favor his children when there is nothing we can truly do for him. We are nothing without HIM and that is the point.
