My opinion about Dreamworks is that they either make really good movies, or really bad movies, and rarely ever in between. For every How to Train Your Dragon, there's a Shark Tale, for every Kung Fu Panda, there's a Shrek the Third, and for every Rise of the Guardians, there's a Boss Baby.

madagascar is one of my beloved franchises. they’re not that good but very funny and just radiate comfort to me

for some reason my dad, who thought cartoons made after 1995 were rediculous and in general didn't watch anything but horror and westerns, was obsessed with the first movie. I am still baffled to this day
