I agree with Peter, we need to expand the edges of our knowledge and concepts. Not everything needs a Creator. If Irfan is right and everything needs a creator then how did the creator come into existence? It's an endless sequence, not everything needs to be created, including us.

The universe began , it must have a cause and creator. You ask Did something cause that creator ? Then you can also ask , who created the creator that created the creator .( keep going for ever) This is called an infinite regress of causes . There cannot be an infinite regress of causes otherwise you will never have the effect ; which is of course the universe. You welcome

If you do not believe in an ultimate uncaused creator, it means you believe existence either came from out of nowhere, or that existence always existed (infinite regress). Those are the only other options.

This is supported by the fact that we still haven't found out how or even why the universe came into being. Now, the Universe could come from nothing or it came from a creator. There is no other possible explanation, because everything is inclusive in that statement. Therefore, the probability that Creator exists is 1/2, simply because we are ignorant to answer. Now, even if there was a Creator, how do we know it is the Abrahamic definition of 'God?' Many people base that on the fact of human qualities and morality are present.
