Welcome to the Virtual Exhibition: Marilyn Monroe: The Private Self & Iconic Public Image. The exhibition is curated according to quotes and Marilyn's fashion and beauty to inner musings and emotions that resulted in a lasting legacy. She was unique. That is the word I can only use to capture the icon who is Marilyn Monroe. Her ability to captivate and intrigue the world is something otherworldly. No one has ever managed to impact the world in the way she has. A true icon, legend and woman.

virtual museum tour is my favourite series from this channel, it's so unique and exquisite! you captured the complexity of such iconic human being in a way that feels so natural, Marilyn Monroe was a multifaceted and inspirational individual, the personification of a free spirit in the body of a woman, truly a legend.

I think it's more the opposite. She was everything but authentic. She created this fictional persona called "marilyn" when in fact she was just norma jean. The girl from next door

damn the intro was fire. i always admire how u edit your videos. norma jeane's talent lies in her intuitive affinity with film and the camera. she has spent so many years perfecting the image of marilyn monroe, even at the cost of her personal life. however it still saddens me that the culture and belief systems at the time only saw her for her body and her being a woman. she was such a great actress. i think it would be lovely if she had a variety of roles, not just the dumb blonde. i think society lacked self awareness and understanding during the war… and i hope we reach a point where we welcome each other and build communities and accept us for who we are. norma jeane is just one of the many icons that were ahead of their time, and i think that's because she knew who she was, and what she wanted, and had the courage and kindness to pursue it despite it all.

"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." - we have no evidence this quote is by Marilyn Monroe. It probably isn't.

There’s a lot of time and research put into this, not everything will be perfect since I’m doing this by myself. I checked across multiple sources and it came up consistently so I included it. Even if she didn’t say it, I feel that she would agree they are good words to live by
@szederlekvar
@szederlekvar 2 жыл бұрын
I didn't mean to devalidate your work. I just happened to remember this was a false friend and quickly fact-checked it. This doesn't corrupt the quality of the video, which is, of course, excellent. And yes, she might agree with these words - we will never know -, but it's a tricky thing to come back with. This is the same argument many used when an alleged Meryl Streep quote was found to actually be by a Romanian writer. Yes, she might or might not agree with it but she still didn't say it.

I just can’t with this video. If she said all this, she sure lived different from all the ethos she’s spouting. It’s like she’s speaking from the best version of herself; imagined. It’s like she’s saying things from the person she wished she were or the person she’s supposed to be.

I love this but I doubt marylin said all these quotes. To be honest, I doubt she ever revealed much of her inner thoughts and that's why most people realised her intellect after she died. In her times, she was just a pretty bimbo to people. But in our time she's way more

She talked allot, communicated allot, she’s a Gemini.. so while it may be true that she didn’t reveal her real self , she had interviews where she said allot and wasn’t some girl who didn’t speak for herself. She would’ve had to be a smart talker to get to the position she got to. She had an affair with the President.. she had to be a smooth talker.

I prefer the regular style analysis videos to the "virtul museum" ones. They seem like an artificial filler to me, as if you just wanted to put something, anything out there and be done with it. It's just a video showing a bunch of photos and quotes - they all can be found in google, so what's the point? What value does such a video add?
