That's because in India, one of religions doesn't eat beef and cows are sacred for them as much as they worship when they see one. A cow is often seen in all ceremonies especially in orthodox families during housewarming, wedding etc. dude

If you’re a vegetarian you can still consume the fries.It’s made from wheat and milk derivatives which makes it non vegan but it still remains vegetarian.

In Canada the fries are vegan ,we once asked the employee if they were cooked in vegetable oil and the answer is yes there is no beef flavouring added in our fries fortunatly.

In the 1950's, McDonald's used to add Beef Tallow to their fries. But In The 1980's, McDonald's had to switch it to vegetable oil for health reasons. Then customers started hating the fries so McDonald's just has beef flavoring in their fries. That's why their so good.
