Yeah but you're proving his point. It's the mother's putting their sons in that position while society also says you must do it as a son. If it's a case of no one else can do it then sure take care of your mom, but in this case it's just women making the worst decisions, picking the wrong men then basically forcing her kids to take care of them rather than finding a husband, who is suppose to do that, creating son husband.. and that is sick, that needs to stop

Prior to LBJ's Great Society program, young black couples were getting married at a higher rate than white couples. Black people's overall wealth was improving at a rate faster than whites too. All of those welfare programs were rooted in racism, with the goal of keeping black people poor and powerless. Statistically, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to be poor if you marry (or enter a commitment like marriage) and don't have kids prior to that commitment. It's less than 1%

How could you respect your mother the same after being husband and father and provider to your own mother who don’t got her shit together and you provide for her and then she turns around to complain about you and what you do as if she knows what a man is or how one acts because if she did clearly she wouldn’t be in that situation if she could pick a good man so I don’t know how he could’ve put it but that’s the best I’ve ever heard it put before
