I love Mothra and I think that after 60 years she should finally meet Kong, there would be such a interesting synergy between the 3. Godzilla the destruction of humanity. Kong humanity at its core. And Mothra the best of humanity. That being said, I feel like adding Mothra would make the new empire feel crowded, and it might be better if she showed if the next movie, though I wouldn’t be disappointed if she did show.

There's a leak plot on reddit that seems legit. When godzilla fighting kong at the pyramid. It says mothra coming out of nowhere, literally grab zilla by the neck, dragging, spinning and quickly slamming him down to the ground with great strength because she was trying to stop zilla & kong from fighting. @@richardpage5812 no, she is trying to stop godzilla from annihilated kong during the pyramid battle. She convince zilla to work together with kong against shimu & skar king. Its like she's the peacemaker between the two and shes also fighting along with them taking out skar king army. The leak plot seems legit from start to finish because some of the scene from the trailer are also being mention in the plot. We will see more of mothra with her aerial strikes this time around. And she will also showcases her new ability like shooting spike from her wings.

Remember how mothra slamming Rodan who is twice her size to the ground during their battle? And who knows maybe this new incarnation of mothra is lot bigger & stronger than the one in the KOTM. Or maybe godzilla wont fight back and just let himself getting drag & pinned down by mothra because mothra is his close allies. Its possible.

But it is true that Mothra slammed Rodan into the ground, then again Rodan is a lot less heavy than Godzilla. I suppose we'll see in the movie.

Bingo! The size she was given is far too small and too much like a wasp/mosquito with mantis legs. She's a gigantic Moth kaiju, the queen of the titans, it's not difficult to envision. She needs to be massive like the largest Moths in nature with modern versions of her original abilities. I hope her new form is larger and evolved liked godzilla. The larger the Mothra, the better and larger the action figure too.

@@ottabee *Looks at the hornet moth that has a wasp like body along with gmk mothra who also had a wasp like body and the Hercules moth who has wings bigger than it's own body* Mothra's size was the issue, not her overall design. Her new design was made the way it was to make her a fighter and perhaps help audiences take her more seriously cause realistically, moths in real life got nothing to defend themselves with. Mothra in previous movies can throw down but only from a distance cause the moment she gsts upclose and tries to use her small legs as weapons, it does nothing and gets her more hurt more often than not. Larger doesn't always mean better.

Actually according to the official measurements Mothra's wingspan is 244 m. This means that 1 pair of wing should be 122 meters, literally just as tall as Godzilla himself. In the movie we don't get as much size comparison, but it was innacurate when Queen crawled onto Godzilla, her whole wingspan is literally just as big as Goji when it should've been twice as big. Some say Rodan burned her wings so it became smaller, but if he really did burn her wings to that extent then the infamous eye in her wings should've be gone-gone.

I feel like it makes more sense that Mothra is a species. Since we know that the Gojira species or at least Godzilla specifically has a symbiotic relationship with Mothra. So to me it implies to me than Godzilla’s species must been able to enter a symbiotic relationship with members of the Mothra species. To me Mothra’a ability to reproduce asexually and “reincarnate” might be an evolutionary adaptation to her species dropping on population.

IDK mothra is pretty unique, if theres more than one you'd have a bunch of ultra ancient god moths that can never be killed. even 3 of them at once would be too much to handle for any hostile kaiju.

@@epic-o2215 True, however there are several species of insect known as Aphids that all reproduce aesexually, that said it is clear that there has only been one Mothra specimen in KOTM, that said it doesn’t make sense for if Mothra is or was a species for a species to be made up of one speciemen.

@@KadenSlinker I think they keep her background a bit of a mystery because she always has been a unique Kaiju. Her lore has a lot of religious and spirituality undertones and a lot of her origin is basically that she is the earth's answer to threats. Even when her egg is destroyed the planet just makes a new one in some iterations of her story. I think in the monsterverse they'll keep her as the sole titan member of her species, with maybe tiny bioluminescent versions of her living in that island we haven't seen.

Where did you get that Godzilla is female? In the toho movies Godzilla is genderless and in the monsterverse Godzilla is a male.

Why is Mothra so tiny in comparison to the other Titans? She's all wings. The original Toho design was quite large.....Miothra vs. Godzilla is a fine example.

I like her design as is . Her main body could be a bit larger I guess but I like keeping her more sleek and agile. Specially if they let her use her ranged attacks more

Well she did in GKOTM! Mothra could've delivered a fatal wound with her stinger but didn't. I will concede that Rodan had the upper hand during most of the fight.

Although i didn't watch this video but uh Mothra got beaten badly by Rodan like REALLY badly she could have died if she didn't use her stinger Although she did made Godzilla into Thermo she still kinda useless in either way Godzilla would demolish Rodan hard and if Rodan didn't bow he would have been beaten badly also This is your opinion anyway soooooooo Have fun i guess 🤷

mothra could have killed rodan but chose not to fatally stab him, he is the one that could have been killed, Mothra knew rodan would bow to godzilla after the fight no sense in killing him, just incapacitate. Basically Rodan was trying to kill, Mothra just aimed to incapacitate, which is harder to do when someone is trying to kill you Making godzilla Thermo and then being able to reincarnate seems like a hardly useless skillset, its extremely overpowered to just have that set cards to play basically anytime. Their opinion is researched, yours is based on some shallow headcanon about rodan beating mothra even though it couldn't.

@@LeLuigi1955 lol, no plot armor means there is no Rhodan to fight Mothra since Ghidorah would have killed him on their first fight as Godzilla movies do, Rhodan isn't smart enough to stay away. Since you want to be selective with your plot armor, I wonder how the fight would have gone if Mothra actually wanted to kill Rhodan and Rhodan didn't get to surprise attack her. finally, in your dream scenario of Rhodan beating Mothra: Mothra would still fuse with Godzilla, and Rhodan would have died to the first Mothra/Godzilla pulse. While Mothra reincarnates for the next movie. there's no scenario in which Rhodan emerges victorious. You should really thank Mothra that Rhodan is still around. Rhodan wasn't spared once, or twice in this movie, but three whole times that's the biggest plot armor I've seen in the span of 2 hours. 😔✊

i like how she was portrayed, but i do wish she had used more of her abilities, itd be fun if she reflects some beams and shoots some of her own in the next movie.

She is probably an alien Kaiju the polar opposite of King Ghidorah. Mothra, there could be more than one and is all over the universe protecting other planets from threats like King Ghidorah.
