This video elaborates why Muhammad Ali changed his name and religion. He converted from Christianity to Islam. He believed that his original name Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. was inspired by slave name, so he rejected it and chose the name and religion which was appealing to him.

Which is why he told Abraham not to worship porcelain or any objects in deuteronomy but despite any instructions on how to worship statues, the Bible says no idols and that's all you got. That's not God and Allah is not God but an old stone turned to square god. But as long as you don't read the Bible you won't know what the rules are. Listen to a man makes you Roman. Listening to Christ and His words and the use of The Helper, makes you a Christian.

All this reminded me of the middle eastern war out there that has a lot to do with forcing a religion to others Mostly the extremist muslims which as a muslim myself, we are *not* taught to force a religion to others. "Your religion is yours, My Religion is mine" Is written in one of the lines in Al-quran(Islamic Bible), This literally means that we cannot Force religion to others and believe in our own religions

To clear things up, you shouldn't force religion on others, Islam and many other religions teach that (Islam teaches Muslims to be gentle, not harsh and also in the Quran it says for you is your faith, for me my faith. Also pls don't bring up anything about 'Muslim' terrorists cos the terrorists don't even know anything abt Islam and commit so many sins and go against Islamic teachings. Also lots of ppl talking abt slavery in Islam. So basically lots of ppl were against Muslims cos of their new religion and there were lots of wars. @@normal9935 I'm Christian as well, I believe Jesus died for our sins. He was our role model and our savior. But that is my faith, we don't know with 100% certainty that there even is an afterlife. That's why it's called faith, it's not tangible, it's something you have to believe in. I hope there is a afterlife and a creator waiting for us, but there are so many other possibilities. Death could very well be the end to our consciousness, an eternal void of oblivion where you're not even aware that you died. Or reincarnation could actually be true, purgatory could be a thing. All we know for certain now is that we are alive and one day that won't be the case anymore. What happens after that is anyone's guess.

@Vongola Atzi My family is all over the place religion wise. Dad was raised catholic but now attends a pentecostal church. Mom never really did the church thing. They split up when I was really young. My grandmother on my mom's side insisted I go to a private Christian school, which I did. I didn't like the hypocrisy I saw there. Also the inability for them to accept people for who they are bothered me. Not all Christians are that way and not everyone there was like that. The administration was very close minded and conformed to a very old way of thinking. Made the whole experience not a positive one for me. As I get older I start to think there's no way we can truly understand the nature of our existence and the purpose thereof. So many variables. But I do hope there's a creator and death is not a endless void of oblivion, nothingness. Although that would be preferable to what's depicted as "hell" in the Bible. Eternal torment sounds like too great a punishment for any wrong doing really. Like a few thousand years for murder sure. But to be burned for eternity simply for not accepting Christ as your savior seems like gross overkill, and quite unfair to anyone who was born into another religion. I just try to treat people with respect and do things I enjoy that don't hurt myself or others. Maybe that's all there is to it. Maybe not. I also do wonder about the trillions and trillions that have already been born before the time of written record and what their fate would be having not been told the gospel. Doesn't really add up for me. But then again I don't think it ever will.

@@flash4901 Sahih Bukhari 3755 Narrated Qais: Bilal said to Abu Bakr, If you have bought me for yourself then keep me (for yourself), but if you have bought me for Allah's Sake, then leave me for Allah's Work. Bilal was asking Abu Bakr to be freed after Muhammad died. It's tradition that he was freed, but the sources don't actually say he was. Surah 33:50 mentions the slaves of war given by Allah Surah 4:24 says you can sleep with those slaves of war even if they're married Surah 4:92 and other places mentions the freeing of a slave as a punishment for a crime committed by his master. Sahih Bukhari 5843, 5433, 4234, 4200 and many many many others speak about the slaves of Muhammad and the Muslims. Even Aisha had a slave. And that's just in bukhari. Slavery is everywhere in the hadith. It's also in the muwatta imam Malik showing early Islamic legal regulations regarding slavery. There's absolutely zero reason to think either the Quran or the sunnah do anything other than endorse slavery

@@AcidAdventurer slaves of war is literally prisoners of war you goofy, every military/government has prisoners of war, and not only prisoners but also make them work, and islamic ethics regarding slaves of war are far better than societies today such as america with guantanamo bay. And bilal was bought and freed by abu bakr al sadeeq, he wasnt freed at the beginning because mecca had strict rules around slaves and they were waiting until mecca was overtaken. Bilal is one of the highest regarded people in islam and you cant even handle that fact. Also, slaves were given rights to leave their contractor in a process known as mukataba, which basically makes it a worker/contractor relationship. and you probably didnt even bother to research what mukataba is. And for the icing on the cake: "The freeing of slaves was regarded as the high-mountain road that led to heights of divine nearness" (Surah Al-Balad, Ch.90: V.13-14). Keep crying in a corner with your academic dishonesty. Reality doesnt care about your feelings.

He also named himself after two people who owned slaves Calling Cassius Clay a slave name is about the most ignorant thing imaginable. Truth is he was manipulated by the nation of islam into believing a lot of ignorant things. Islam has actually caused more people to become enslaved than Christianity ever did. The reason you dont see those slaves descendants nowadays is because they castrated them. The arguments against slavery started because abolitionists pointed out it was anti Christian to treat another man in such an inhumane manner

The irony is the both Mohammed and his nephew Ali kept black slaves that they castrated (Christians didnt go that far) and who viewed blacks as only being worth half of an Arab. Contrast this with Cassius Clay who spent his entire life fighting for the liberty of African americans, and treated his slaves as equals and gave them land when it was legal for them to own it. So he joined a religion and took the name of someone who was worse to blacks than the Americans, and got rid of the name of a pro black freedom fighter who was of a faith that teaches NEVER FORCE THIS RELIGION ON ANYONE. Just cause the pope doesnt follow the teachings of Jesus doesnt make the teachings of Jesus bad
