I hope your dad is doing well and had a successful surgery , your daughter may have many more scary accidents as she grows up but Jesus will always ensure she is well cared for and hopefully does not cause you too much fright .she is a very big brave girl and so was you well done in being so calm and being a perfect mother just like Honey is

My son did the same at that age. Just walking tripping over his feet and landing face frist on concrete. Deep cut between nose and lips the size like sacagaweas cut. Now he has that tiny scar (barely noticeable) but we didn't stitch it. Shortly after he didn't manage to use his bike brakes and got too fast downhill. Landet face first in the grit. Helmet broken (lifesaver!) but other than giant bruises and scratches and all over one half of his face nothing happened. Most major thing have been cuts that had to be cleaned and glued in the ER. Nothing wild happened after, now he's climbing trees and all like crazy but pretty secure. Wish you all the best ❤

It is vital to keep people awake after a bad hit to the head as told. We know of a family who lost their little one because they didn’t know to keep them awake. So glad she is ok

I'm glad Sacagawea is okay! All mothers know that cry, how scary! Thank God she's fine, you are lucky to have Taina with you, I also lived with my mother while I raised my daughter as a single mother and I couldn't have done it without my mom, and my family, you remind me a lot of my story, my daughter is already 20 years old! A Mom knows "the cry". About 24 years ago, my daughter fell right in front of me. I was eight months pregnant at the time, and just did not move quickly enough to catch her or break her fall. I drove her to the ER, and when they wanted to stitch her face, I asked if they could glue it. Glue was very new then, and they had one intern that had received training on duty. My daughter did end up with a scar, but it is small and easily covered with makeup. The ironic part of the story is my daughter is named Trevelyn after her Grandmother Evelyn. We call my grandmother Heidy, and that was the name of the intern that day who glued and bandager her up.

Yes my daughter fell at the WIC office 31 yrs ago they were in same parking lot as the hospital they walked us over and she ended up with stitches. 😢

They used that surgical glue on my c-section. When I noticed it was glue and not stitches like the first two births, I was scared out of my mind. I asked the doctor and nurses thousands of times if it was safe. I was so scared that my cut would open up. But they reassured me that it was safe and the glue is super strong. 14 years later 😊 that scar is less visible than the traditional staple/stitches method.

They say that any time you get a cut on the face it bleeds a lot. My son closed the door when my daughter was chasing him and she ran into the doorknob and I thought her head was cut bad but they said the face bleeds a lot when cut.

The glue can be less traumatizing too. They often don’t like holding down kids to sew them up or even to give them an anesthetic to numb the area can hurt initially. Very glad she is okay!

Oh no! Poor Sacagawea..she was probably just scared/in shock. So glad she is okay. I'm so lucky none of my kids have YET to need stitches. They do get banged up at times from rough housing but nothing too serious has happened. I never got a bad enough injury to end up in the ER until I was around 35 years old. I cut my hand open on a bb gun. It was deep and I had to have stiches in for over a month. It was challenging because my youngest child was 4 at the time and my oldest was 6. So I was still having to do a lot by myself when my husband was at work. So glad that happened when I only have two kids (I have three now).

The cry is terrible. I get it. Sounds like a scary experience. I have only gone to the ER with my kids twice in the past 17 years, but never from an injury (from allergic reactions). I can't imagine going through what you had. Sacagawea is a sweetheart and strong.

Im glad the baby girl is doing fine. Thought something 10x worse but glad she is doing good and everything is back to normal. Cleopatra still looks like she never had a baby. So jealous of her genes to bounce back to her pre baby figure.

Okay, within the first two minutes we find out the Sacagawea is taking a ride in an ambulance, and the car was broken into. You know that this is going to be an insanely wild ride! Glad to see Sacagawea is recovering well. Oh that blood curdling scream is bone chilling Classic neighbour. 😠 Ouch, that must be painful. (Hears more details...yep, this is painful.) Why was I blessed with a vivid imagination. That description of the bones, ooft. Yeah, I would have gone with glue too. Lol, the doctor gluing himself to Cleopatra. Climbing stuff is a rite of passage. Apparently I learnt how climb before I could walk. Oh, Sacagawea is totally like you. Ah ha ha, I would be exactly the same, asking people to get me ALL the stuff. Amen. Love story time.

My son's first injury was while I was at work. He was 2 and sliced his leg at daycare... 7 stitches later.. The drive to the daycare from school was CrAzY !!!

Ouch! Im glad Sacageawea is safe. My Son is a few months younger than Sacageawea... his first ER injury was when we had guests over and my Husband was away. In Korea, we like to serve beverages in smaller cups. So I had the hot tea in small cups ready to serve. I took 2 of the 3 cups to the ladies, but the tea bag tag of the third cup was dangling off the counter edge. A few seconds of having my back to my Son and that cup, I heard his scream and inconsolable cry. He pulled down the cup by the tag and the hot tea spilled over his arm and pj's sleeve. My heart struggled to cope but my first aid and Mammi brain kicked in support mode. I rinsed his arm under the tap, and called the necessary people. We raced to the ER, but his cry was immense to me. Luckily, Korean health care, especially the skin care, is exceptional! He is well and has his own unique Samoan looking skin mark, its fading well granted it happened early this year. I am thankful to the Lord my Son is safe!

Oh yes, we moms know the cry all right! And it's like a reflex, isn't it? You start going even before you finish the thought of "something happened to my baby". My grandmother, in her late 80's, still had the same reaction when she saw her daughter (my mother) right after cancer removal surgery - my mom was over 65 years old at that point. Once a mother, always a mother. Sacagawea might have had a slight concussion, which would explain her strange behavior. Glad she's OK!

This happened to my 2.5 year old!!!! I saw his skull! We also went to hospital via ambulance...he got 6 stitches!!! Its a permanent scar but kids are just kids!!!!

She tripped and fell. How is that shocking? Kids trip and fall all the time. Cleo is a very dramatic storyteller so she makes it seem worse than it was.
