There is a serious issue with this movie and it ties to my objection with Kung Fu Panda 4. On the other hand, I do mention the one sequel I'm looking forward to.

Trust me, I've seen the movie, you're worrying about nothing, the movie works just fine.

That's not the point of anxiety telling the rest of the emotions that they're not needed. It's about the fact that Anxiety often OVERRIDES all emotions. We've also seen the anxiety emotions in the parents in new trailers.
@forgottenhollywood13 күн бұрын
My point is that Anxiety, and the other new emotions, were not present in the minds of the parents during the first movie. If they were something that emerged during the teen years, they should have been there in an adult. They had to rework their established world to make them fit.

@@forgottenhollywood they are in the new one, if you check one of the many trailers they are.

@@forgottenhollywoodno they didn’t. Those emotions are the teen four. That’s why in the start of the movie the HQ is being rebuilt. They are making more room for the emotions.

It’s a movie your gonna need conflict? So with your logic you just want a movie that has no conflict and no change 🤨 and again it’s a movie and ur like 59 worrying about made up characters and you hate change, your one of those moms🤨

So what cartoons you like them to watch? I'm sure I can find something I disagree with. But that not the point. These movies are helping kids recognize feelings and emotions so they can express how they feel. Let them watch it and then you sit down with them and discuss the movie. Ask them how they felt about it.
@forgottenhollywood13 күн бұрын
My kids are currently big fans of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse as the oldest of the four is only 5. When they get a little older, I have no issue with them watching Inside Out 1, but they don't need to watch Inside Out 2 in order to recognize and understand emotions. If I want them to watch something that will discuss emotions at their level, I will put on Mister Rogers.
@memestboi45326 күн бұрын
@@forgottenhollywoodfor toddlers, yes something like that is a good idea. But for kids that are 10+ something more complex like Inside Out 1 and 2 can teach them how to accept how they feel currently and how to do so more effectively in the future as well. If you want your kids to be sheltered and have to see a therapist because they can't deal with their emotions properly, be my guest, but not allowing them to see a movie that is not only for kids but educates them isn't good parenting.

If you actually watch the movie it literally explains a bunch of the stuff you criticize. The parents do have the other emotions. Also, the first movie was originally drafted to hbu a bunch more emotions such as the more nuanced joy and sad emotions you mentioned, but they thought that would over convolute the story they were trying to tell. It’s a kids movie, and they do a good job explaining complex ideas in a way that many across general audiences can relate with and understand. Kung Fu Panda 4, I agree that was not very strong, though, feels it’s kinda weird to hide it from your son, as if to choose what he’s allowed to like or experience. I actually think Despicable Me is the most nonsensical; it brought back Silus Ramsbottom after he was just fired in the last one (feels like retcon) and even though Gru now has a son, the girls are still the same age). Even the 3rd one felt retconned with the whole twin brother thing when clearly there was no mention of a brother in any of the other movies, or even in the 4th, after he literally met the brother. But to each their own
@gabrielcastaneda970012 күн бұрын
The way I took it was our emotions all come up when they are needed so the mom and dad have them but their present when needed. Like nostalgia

Ma'am, I'm sorry but children are not going to pick that up. I watched it, and it fits the script of the last movie very well and melds into the first one fantastically, and in my opinion, it's one of the best Pixar movies to come out as of late and I highly recommend it. Personally, I don't think you're in any place to say anything about this movie when you haven't even seen it. it covers a topic that every child has to go through sometime in their life and I believe is a perfect representation of adolescence. please, give it a chance, its a great movie.

Movies ruining the LORE of the Franchises of yesteryear installments, it's getting old and makes going to the theaters not fun anymore. When these writers, directors Hollywood studio producers and CEOs and companies effect the script and the previous installments story narratives are too often ignored, shattered, spat upon, sidelined in their own movies and television series. My truly last enjoyable film was either JW4. Gave a glimpse into old style 80s action movies.
